Changing Text to Circuits 1) A series circuit has two cells joined to make a battery of 9V. The battery is connected to a variable resistor and a fixed resistor. The current through the fixed resistor is measured using an ammeter and a voltmeter measures the voltage across the fixed resistor.

2) A parallel circuit has three cells joined to make a battery of 9V. The battery is connected to a variable resistor and a fixed resistor connected in parallel with each other. The current through the fixed resistor is measured using an ammeter and a voltmeter measures the voltage across the variable resistor.

30 Second Answer

Use the words above to describe what’s going on in the picture.

10 Word PosterYou have 10 minutes to produce a poster that describes and explains everything to do with forces

A man takes his dog for a walk. At the start they walk for 10 seconds at 3m/s.The dog sees a cat and suddenly increases its speed to 10m/s for 5 seconds and chases the cat towards a main road.

The diver of a car sees a cat run out into the road. The car is travelling at 20m/s and its takes the driver 0.6s to react. He slams the breaks on and stops the car in 2.5 seconds.

Draw two velocity time graphs which describe the incident. Could you draw two distance time graphs ?
