ENArtistic View gives a realistic view of the motif when embroidered.

• select an embroidery motif or

an alphabet in embroidery

mode

• touch the «Design informa-

tion» icon in the Edit screen

• the «Design information»

• the «Artistic View» screen

• the motif is displayed in arti-

DEGeschwindigkeitsabgleichEin Geschwindigkeitsabgleich muss durchgeführt werden wenn:

• die maximale Geschwindigkeit grösser als 950 SPM ist

• die Nadel-Stopp-Position nicht stimmt

Vorbereitung• Geradstich Nr. 1 wählen

• Transporteur versenken

• Nähfuss entfernen

Setup-Programm öffnen• externe Taste «Setup»

• das Auswahlmenü erscheint

• Feld «Hardware» drücken

• im neuen Auswahlmenü das

Feld «reg. S.P.M.» drücken

• touch «reg. S.P.M.»

ENGeneral informations

Securing Function (with 4 stitches) (p. 32)• touch the icon before beginning to sew (Pattern

Begin is active) = Individual stitch pattern is

secured at the beginning and end. The sewing

computer continues sewing.

individual stitches will be secured at the end, the

sewing computer continues sewing.

computer stops after securing at the end of the

individual stitch pattern.

• programming the function within a stitch combi-

nation = each pattern will be secured at the

beginning and at the end.

Securing Program (p. 32)• the needle is automatically positioned in the

center, and its position cannot be changed as

long as the function is active.

Long Stitch (p. 30)• can be used with all utility and decorative

stitches

Exception: Triple straight stitch no. 6, button-

holes, and sideways motion stitches

Application:• for basting, use in combination with straight

stitch.

Triple straight stitch with long stitch

This makes the longest stitch 10 mm at a

stitch length of 5 mm.

Spinning Spool (p. 206)• thread spool is turning = data being calculated

• during this calculation time, do not perform

any manoeuvres, and do not remove or insert

any external devices such as USB sticks, PC

connection cables, etc.

• if the sewing / embroidery computer malfunc-

tions, switch it off, then on again

Embroidery-computer working memory

The working memory of the embroidery compu-

ter is limited. When the memory is almost full,

the following message appears:

Please save your current motif. Your embroidery

computer memory has nearly reached its limit.

Switch your embroidery computer off and on

again to continue.

EditorLite V4 and ArtLink

V4 will be replaced by

ArtLink V5

Quilters Securing Program (p. 138)

Automatically secures the stitching with

5 short securing stitches forward at the

beginning and the end, and stops at the end of

the seam.

The numbering of the quilting stitches categories

has changed as follows - e.g. from 324 to 1324

etc.

Correct fitting of bobbin case brake spring

Insert the bobbin case brake spring into the bob-

bin case as shown in the drawing, ensuring that

the four brake cams (thin arrows) engage into

the bobbin case notches (thick arrows).

Maintenance

If the sewing / embroidery computer is brought

to your local BERNINA Dealer, the Buttonhole

foot with slide no. 3A must be included.

Arbeitsspeicher des Stickcomputers

Der Arbeitsspeicher des Stickcomputers ist

beschränkt. Ist der Speicher annähernd belegt,

erscheint folgende Meldung:

Speichern Sie das aktuelle Muster. Der

Arbeitsspeicher des Stickcomputers hat die

Grenze fast erreicht. Schalten Sie den

Stickcomputer aus und wieder ein um mit Ihrer

Arbeit fortzufahren.

Stickrahmen

Vor der ersten Benutzung das Stickmodul mit

dem ovalen Stickrahmen kalibrieren.

Benutzen Sie für artista 730 nur die lila farbene

Schablone.

Korrekte Montage der Spulenkapsel-

Bremsfeder

Die Spulenkapsel-Bremsfeder gemäss Zeichnung

in die Spulenkapsel einlegen. Dabei ist darauf zu

achten, dass die vier Nocken an der Feder

(dünne Pfeile) bei den Öffnungen der

Spulenkapsel (dicke Pfeile) einrasten.

Unterhalt

Wird der Näh-/Stickcomputer zm Service gege-

ben, muss der Knopflochschlittenfuss Nr. 3A bei-

gelet werden.

Quilters Vernähprogramm (S. 138)

Sichert Nähbeginn und Nähende automa-

tisch mit 5 kurzen Vernähstichen vorwärts.

Am Nahtende wird automatisch gestoppt.

Die Nummerierung der Quiltstich - Kategorie hat

von z.B. 324 auf 1324 usw. geändert.
