Address to my Gracewood Neighbors My name Is Ernesto Seidman, and I have been a resident of Gracewood for the lastten years, residing at 1 Meadow Lane. Living here has improved the quality of our lives tremendously. We enjoy all Gracewood has to offer from its beautiful vegetation to the facilities and classes offered at the Mansion, both indoor and outdoor. As I drive up Gracewood Drive upon entering our community I immediately feel a sense of serenity and am proud to be part of such a great community. I have recently learned that there is an open board position on the Gracewood Board of Directors. I have a great respect and gratitude for the current members of the boards that dedicate their time and expertise to run our premier community, and I want to specifically thank Dr. Leslie Shapiro for serving for so many years, and I wish him the best of luck. It so happens that the open Board position coincides with my decision to retire from Orthopedic Surgery after 45 years of private practice, whereby I ran a successful business with employees and medical residents working under my supervision. During the tenure of my medical practice, I served as the Chief of the Orthopedic Department as well as a member of the Medical Board of Astoria General Hospital, presently known as Mount Sinai Hospital. I also formed a Multispecialty group of Forty-Five Physicians, called Astoria Medical Group, where I served as Rotational Director and a permanent member of the Executive Board of Directors. On a social level, I have been a Member of the West Side Tennis Club ("WSTC") since 1993 where I developed a new program called the "Breakfast Club" which allowed "early birds" to play tennis before their business day commenced. This program provided extra income to the WSTC during the early morning hours, where otherwise the courts would be idol. I also was a member of the Tournaments Committee. My prior leadership roles have allowed me to gain experience in interacting with others to resolve some difficult issues by working together to reach a consensus in order to reach the best possible decisions for the betterment of such institution. Now with my retirement in the horizon I will have ample time and energy to allocate to the Board and the needs of Gracewood. As a board member I will focus on the needs of our community and bring and/or enhance programs involving health, wei/ness and sports. In addition, I will ensure, if elected, to preserve and improve upon the current beauty and quality of our trees and plants that we not only take pride and pleasure in, but are integral to our property values. Like all things, there is always room for improvement. As many of you may know, part of my daily exercises is to walk the lanes and circles of Gracewood, that total about 2.5 miles. Walking our community gives me great joy, and by the same token it provides me an opportunity to see firsthand things that may need repair and improvement. Such things as they arise I will most surely share with my fellow Board Members In order to address the Gracewood personnel, if necessary, as well my fellow Gracewood community owners. It will be with great honor if you would consider me to fill the open board position, as I will serve with devotion and a commitment to continue to maintain and improve this exceptional community. Address to my Gracewood Neighbors

My name Is Ernesto Seidman, and I have been a resident of Gracewood for the lastten years, residing at 1 Meadow

Lane. I write here to ask you for your vote to place me on the Gracewood Community Board of Directors.

The decision to move to Gracewood was a very fortunate one, made by myself and wife Mirta. Living here has

improved the quality of our lives tremendously. We enjoy all Gracewood has to offer from its beautiful vegetation to the

facilities and classes offered at the Mansion, both indoor and outdoor. As I drive up Gracewood Drive upon entering our

community I immediately feel a sense of serenity and am proud to be part of such a great community.

I have recently learned that there is an open board position on the Gracewood Board of Directors. I have a great

respect and gratitude for the current members of the boards that dedicate their time and expertise to run our premier

community, and I want to specifically thank Dr. Leslie Shapiro for serving for so many years, and I wish him the best of

luck.

It so happens that the open Board position coincides with my decision to retire from Orthopedic Surgery after 45

years of private practice, whereby I ran a successful business with employees and medical residents working under my

supervision.

During the tenure of my medical practice, I served as the Chief of the Orthopedic Department as well as a member

of the Medical Board of Astoria General Hospital, presently known as Mount Sinai Hospital. I also formed a Multispecialty

group of Forty-Five Physicians, called Astoria Medical Group, where I served as Rotational Director and a permanent

member of the Executive Board of Directors.

On a social level, I have been a Member of the West Side Tennis Club ("WSTC") since 1993 where I developed a

new program called the "Breakfast Club" which allowed "early birds" to play tennis before their business day commenced.

This program provided extra income to the WSTC during the early morning hours, where otherwise the courts would be

idol. I also was a member of the Tournaments Committee.

My prior leadership roles have allowed me to gain experience in interacting with others to resolve some difficult

issues by working together to reach a consensus in order to reach the best possible decisions for the betterment of such

institution.

Now with my retirement in the horizon I will have ample time and energy to allocate to the Board and the needs

of Gracewood.

As a board member I will focus on the needs of our community and bring and/or enhance programs involving

health, wei/ness and sports. In addition, I will ensure, if elected, to preserve and improve upon the current beauty and

quality of our trees and plants that we not only take pride and pleasure in, but are integral to our property values.

Like all things, there is always room for improvement. As many of you may know, part of my daily exercises is to

walk the lanes and circles of Gracewood, that total about 2.5 miles.

Walking our community gives me great joy, and by the same token it provides me an opportunity to see firsthand

things that may need repair and improvement. Such things as they arise I will most surely share with my fellow Board

Members In order to address the Gracewood personnel, if necessary, as well my fellow Gracewood community owners.

It will be with great honor if you would consider me to fill the open board position, as I will serve with devotion

and a commitment to continue to maintain and improve this exceptional community.
