Adelaide, Australia.
The ideal city for your life sciences research and expansion.
Adelaide BioMed CityThe A$3.6 billion Adelaide BioMed City (pictured) is a massive cluster of life sciences infrastructure in the heart of the city, combining education, research and clinical care.
It will be home to Australia’s rst proton therapy unit and by the end of this year it will grow to 2,000 biomedical researchers, 10,000 total sta and 18,000 daily visitors.
Faster clinical trialsForty-three and a half per cent of R&D costs will be reimbursed in cash to eligible companies with an aggregated annual turnover of less than A$20 million (approx. US$15 million). This Federal Government program covers clinical trials, analytics, study drug manufacture, and other R&D.
All that is required to start a First-in-Human trial in Adelaide is ethics approval, which takes an average of just six weeks, saving six to nine months to start a clinical trial compared to the US or Europe.
