INTRODUCTION► Adif, owns a freight terminal network, connected to different lines, allowing the

whole rail freight transport process (start, complement or complete), by carrying

out a sort of train and cargo operations.

► These railway infrastructures are composed of main tracks (reception and

dispatch tracks) and service facilities, where services are provided to rail

transport, depending on their functionality (among them, we include intermodal

freight transport terminals).

► We have considered appropriated to publish this document, which presents the

basic information on the offer at the terminals facilities, with the aim of offering

further data to railway undertakings, shippers, combined transport operators and

other companies interested in intermodal rail transport.

► In this Catalog, the intermodal freight transport terminals, owned by Adif,

are presented independently of the company that manages the provision of

services in the facility. In the chosen presentation format, tab/record type (as

follows), the main categories of data in the terminal are indicated as: Owner,

operator, address and contact, type of Intermodal Transport Unit (ITU) treated,

available tracks, means of manipulation, timetables and services that are provided
