LOGIN / EMAILYour account is automatically pre created by the event organiser when your booking is made. You will receive an e-mail with a button redirecting you to a login page. The new window will then suggest that you create a password for your personal profile/account.

To access the virtual event, participants from China are advised to use a VPN service that allows users to successfully access external services and websites that originate outside of mainland China.

Accessing the virtual event via corporate VPNs or an internal corporate network may cause issues, dependent on IT security policies. These issues can be resolved with internal IT departments.

To access the different sections of the platform, use the buttons on the home screen, once you are using the platform you can use the menu bar. This allows access to the various sections of the event.

Note: The options on the menu bar and the main dashboard may vary depending upon your access and attendee type.

• On the upper right corner of your screen, click on My Profile

• On the left side of your screen next to your photo,click on Edit

You will then be taken to your profile.

To edit the information on your profile, simply click on the Edit or Add parts depending on which type of information you want to amend.

HOW TO NETWORKIn the home page of the event, you can access the Speakers and Delegates lists and identify people of interest. Do not hesitate to contact them through the application to network and schedule virtual meetings.

If you see time slots appearing on people’s profiles, it means that the organiser has allowed you to scheduling meetings based on your delegate pass. Don’t lose time and ask for meetings to the people of your choice before all their slots are booked. You can manage your own availability from the “ My Event “ section of the platform.

HOW TO MAKE A CONNECTION REQUEST To send a connection request to a person, go to a person’s profile (via the list ofparticipants, speakers, or a company profile of a Sponsor, Exhibitor or MediaPartner) and click on Send Connection.

Tip: We encourage you to write a message before sending your connection request to introduce yourself and explain the reason for the connection.

You will be able to find all the people you have been in contact withduring the event in the “My Event” button, My Contacts tab.

It is recommended to use the platform and the Global Meetings Programme as if it was a live, in-person event for a better experience. Connect and network with as many attendees as possible to make the most of your participation.

HOW TO REQUEST A MEETINGStep 1: Go to a person’s profile by going to the lists of participants, speakers, or a

company profile of a Sponsor, Exhibitor or Media Partner.

Step 2: Click on one of the proposed meeting slots. If you want to see other slots, click see more slots.

Step 3: After selecting a slot and the virtual location, write a message to the person you want to meet. Once done, click send meeting request.

By clicking on a participant, you can view the appointment slots for which he or she is available. Select the time slot that you would like to meet with that person.

Video Call

Once you have selected a time slot the meeting will be set as a Video Call within the event platform. Please click on ‘Video Call’ to proceed with your meeting request.

Send a message

It is very important to send a personalised message to the participant you wish to contact so that the meeting can take place.

The Global Meetings Programme allows 1-2-1 meetings only. If you would like to converse in another platform or with more than 2 people, it is suggested you include this in your message.

Manage your meetings

In “My Event”, you can view your appointments, cancel them and manage your availability.

Be careful! A meeting slot is blocked when a request is made or received, even if it is not validated.

HOW TO CONDUCT AVIRTUAL MEETINGTo conduct a virtual meeting, you must select the virtual location when requesting a meeting.(See: Send A Meeting Request)

A few minutes before the meeting, go to the profile of the participant you’re going to meet, and click on the “Meeting Call“ button that will launch the video call (only available if the meeting is confirmed).

HOW TO MEET WITH A CONNECTIONYou can also request to connect with attendees and if they accept you can instant message and have video calls outside of the Global Meetings Programme.

Click the top right icon in the message box to open the messages page. Then click the video icon in the top right to a start video call.

• Edit your profile & select your interests/products

• Connect with qualified attendees

• Send your first meeting requests

• Respond to any meeting requests

• Add notes & tags against your new contacts on the platform. You can do this by visiting your contact’s profile and adding relevant tags to organise your contacts and notes to remind you of specific details and how you met them

• Chat with them on the platform. You can also request to connect with attendees and if they accept your request, you can instantly message and conduct video calls

• Ensure to follow up with your new contacts

• Export your contact list. You can do this by visiting the ‘Contact’ tab on the main homepage and select the option ‘Download’ listed under the ‘Export My Contacts’ section
