Fully supported by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and the UAE Ministry of Energy, ADIPEC 2010, which will strengthen Abu Dhabis position as the business hub for emerging economies, is set to be the largest oil and gas show in the world. The participation of ADNOC & Its Group of Companies comes in line with their strategy to support and effectively participate in all local, regional and international industry events. The Group will have a strong presence in this widely anticipated international event as a key player in the international energy sector and an essential vehicle for the realization of Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030. The ADIPEC conference in this 14 th edition is chaired by Abdul Munim Saif Al Kindy, CEO of the Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations (ADCO). Al Kindy will be the moderator of the Executive Plenary session which will discuss topics under the conference theme Delivering Energy in the Low Carbon Era: Challenges and Opportunities. ABU DHABI (28/10/2010) -- ADNOC & Its Group of Companies are gearing up to take part inthe forthcoming ADIPEC 2010, the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference,

flooding in ADCO oil reservoirs. Speakers will address many of the challenges faced, share theirexperience and discuss the lessons learnt.

Badria Khalfan, Deputy Director, Human Resource and Administration, ADNOC will be themoderator of a panel session to be held under the title: Sustainability and Development of

Human Capital . The panel will explore and provide their perspectives on issues such asattracting, developing and retaining a highly skilled work force and also the ability to managethe human resources pool during the recent downturn whilst ensuring its availability andreadiness for the upturn. It will also provide an insight into the challenges ahead to replenishthe technical work force and grow its future leaders.

Furthermore, stand-alone panel sessions on New Frontier Challenges, Carbon Management inthe Energy Industry, and Delivering Mega-Projects in a Changing/Challenging Environment,have been arranged with highly recognized industry experts as panelists. Also included is aspecial panel on the region s first EOR CO2 project, which has recently been implemented inAbu Dhabi.

Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister and President of the UAE University (UAEU)Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak will be the keynote speaker of the SPE Talent and RetentionWorkshop which will be held under the theme: Unleashing the Potential of Professionals in theRegion: Working Hand in Hand, Bridging the Gender and Generation Gap . Mrs. Badria Khalfanwill be the moderator of this workshop which will be attended by a number of CEOs and high-level decision makers from different sectors.

A Regional Education Day will be hosted by SPE for the benefit of local high school students as

an initiative to introduce them to the discipline of petroleum engineering, and the industry ingeneral . The SPE is also holding an education week alongside ADIPEC. The event selected 72 topstudents to gain knowledge about the Exploration and Production industry, learn from andnetwork with professionals in the industry.

At ADIPEC Exhibition which will be organized alongside the conference, ADNOC & Its Group of Companies will have a strong presence, with a wide range of exhibits showcasing the Group supstream and downstream operations.

ADNOC has 15 subsidiary companies working in the various fields of the oil, gas andpetrochemical industry as well as crude oil and gas transport and services.
