proportion of this comes from outside the EU. Dependence on imported oil and gas, which now stands at around 50%, could rise to 70% by 2030.

ECOLOGY AND RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT. A PRIORITY.• Carbon dioxide (CO2) is one of the greenhouse gases that remain the longest in the atmosphere. Also, and in
accordance with IEO2007, predicted CO2 emissions are 33.9 billion tons in 2015 and 42.9 in 2030.
• This is why the European campaign known as “20-20-20 in 2020” has been created, with the aim, among others, of cutting carbon dioxide emissions by 20% by 2020.

HIGH RESISTANCE TO THE DIFFERENT WATER QUALITIES.• ADISA Calefacción has taken one step further with the design and concept of the new hydraulic circuit
of the ADI range, providing high resistance to limescale and maintaining optimum heat exchanges.
ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF GAS.There are many reasons justifying the use of natural gas over other forms of energy, so much so that gas is seen as the favourite energy source on the 2025 horizon:
Environmental reasons:Natural gas cuts the emission of polluting particles by 54%.
Technical reasons: • As it is a continuous supply energy, there is no need for all the
controls and maintenance required by a storage tank.• As it is a cleaner fuel, gas cuts maintenance costs, so improving
operating costs.• Gas installations offer maximum safety guarantees.
Financial reasons:The price difference between gas and other forms of energy ensures a speedy amortisation of the installation. Also, its price stability prevents surprises in the future.
