pictures and ashutosh gowariker production coming together after delivering

a super hit movie SWADES starring SHAH RUKH KHAN.

JODHA AKBAR starred HRITHIK ROSHAN and AISHWARYA RAI in

the period film. The co-production was a success because both the parties

got their share of experience and proficiency. UTV motion picture brought

its moolah and its marketing and distribution prowess to the table where as

the academy nominated director ASHUTOSH GOWARIKER got the film

making brilliance to the table. Both parties command a good reputation

which helped to get the best of cast and technician on board to make the

movie a masterpiece it was. The movie won some brownie points for both

This is the mother of all motion pictures with a whopping 11 academy awards. The

movie was a master piece but without the people who made it a reality it wouldnt

have been possible. James Cameron conceived the idea for the movie which went

on to become one the highest grossing movie of all time. The film had a winner of

a cast in the form ofKATE WINSLATEand LEONARDO DICAPRIO. Initially the

movie was co-produced between James CameronsLIGHTSTORMproduction and

the Hollywood biggie 20th

CENTURY FOX. Lightstorm was responsible for the

brain side of the movie to which 20th

CENTURY FOXpaid for. The movie overshot

its budget that is when PARAMOUNT Pictures were brought on board for

additional funds. The movie became huge success because of the collated efforts

from each side. The marketing and distribution were taken care of by the best in

the business and the directors equity and image amplified the results for the film.

The movie had a triumphant formula with the correct people on board to carry it

where it is now.
