Duties include local student recruitment and game management, organizes and carries out a practice schedule, provides proper supervision and instruction to players, helps athletic director secure personnel for home games, aid players in the development of their technical skills, requisitions program supplies and equipment, take CCCAA Compliance Rules Exam, verifies that all players have fulfilled all requirements to participate, helps with supervision responsibilities related to the preparation of athletic fields and practice areas, assigns and keeps track of athletic equipment issued to students and staff, helps arrange transportation and lodging for sanctioned activities, participates in all staff meetings and professional growth opportunities as directed, and other duties as assigned.

('Contractor") and the Doaert Community College Diatrlct ('District"). ·

The parties agree as follows:

1) District employs contractor and the contractor accepts employment in Baslo Skllls Initiative to provide the following services:

• Participate in training for Integrated English and Reading courses. • Be prepared to teach Integrated English andlor Reading courses. August 2, 2014 - May 22, 2015

Trainings held during the 14-15 academic year

3) Contractor shall be compensated on the following basis (list salary): $52.00 per hour not to exceed 1 o hours

Contractor shall submit an approved invoice for applicable payroll period/pay day. Contractor agrees to payroll deductions which Include: Federal and state taxes, social Security and Medicare taxes, as may be individually applicable. Contractor also agrees to obtain fingerprints and tuberculosis skin test as required by the Education Code.

Contractor understands and acknowledges that this employment is of a temporary nature and does not provide Contractor any rights to probationary or tenure status. Other than the oompensation provided in paragraph 3 herein, Contractor shall not be entitled to any other fringe benefits of the District.

This Employment Contract can be terminated by District at any time without cause at the sole discretion of the District. contractor acknowledges and agrees that he/she is employed at will, at the pleasure of the District. This Employment Contract will be null and void if payroll documents are not completed when applicable and this agreement is not signed by the contractor prior to the beginning date of employment.
