ADJUSTING THE KITCHENAID STAND MIXER

With this method, you'll learn how to adjust the attachment of your KitchenAid Stand Mixer so you don't have to scrape the bottom of the bowl.

• Connect the paddle attachment to the stand mixer. Do not use the whisk or hook attachment.• Place an envelope into the bowl, under the attachment. If the envelope slides out very easily from the gap

between the attachment and the bowl, fold the envelope.• Lift the head of the mixer; there will be a screw on the neck that allows you to adjust it. Using a flathead

screwdriver, turn the screw clockwise, turning it a quarter of a turn every time.• Test the position of the attachment each time you turn the screw by placing the envelope in and trying to

remove it. If the envelope comes out too easily, continue to adjust the screw until the envelope comes out with a little resistance.

• If the attachment touches the bowl, turn it anticlockwise.• Once you reach the desired position, you are ready to use your stand mixer!
