LIMITED WARRANTY POLICY

I. WORKMANSHIP & MATERIALA. All passenger and truck tires, within 6 years from date of manufacture, which fail due to defects in workman-ship and material, with 3/32’s or more of tread remaining, will be adjusted on a pro-rata tread wear basis, using the Tire Percent of Wear Chart, computed on the customer’s buying cost. Full Federal Excise Tax must be charged on all tire adjustments. Only on new defective tires with no measurable wear (tread mold vents visible across the tread) will the Federal Excise Tax not be charged. Adjustment replacement price does not include charges for mounting and balancing.

B. All workmanship and material adjustments with only 1/32 worn will be replaced at “no charge” except the full Federal Excise Tax must be charged. This is represented by the shaded area on the Percent of Wear Chart.

C. Tires submitted for ride disturbance will be adjusted only within the first 2/32’s of wear. Only 2 tires for ride disturbance/out of round per claim.

II. TREADWEAR EXPECTANCY

Mileage warranties are not offered on private brand tires. However, certain tires are stated in our catalog witha treadwear expectancy. This is the maximum mileage that can be expected if the tire is driven under optimumconditions. Various road conditions, driving styles, & lack of regular, proper maintenance - such as air pressure checks, wheel alignment, rotation, & re-balance can substantially reduce the expected treadwear of any tire.In cases where tires are run on rock roads in rural areas, you could lose as much as 50% to 70% of the original treadwear expectancy. Treadwear expectancy and U.T.Q.G. mileage ratings should both be viewed as a compara-tive standard, when comparing the mileage potential of different tires.

III. MILEAGE WARRANTIES

A number of manufacturers offer limited treadwear mileage warranties. These mileage warranties are supported by the manufacturer, and all claims must be submitted on the appropriate manufacturer claim form, and include the information listed in Section IV.

IV. MILEAGE ADJUSTMENTS

If you feel it is necessary in the interest of customer goodwill to make a prorated adjustment for mileage expec-tancy, or if covered under a manufacturer treadwear warranty, the following criteria must apply:1) Tires must be evenly worn to at least 4/32 remaining, (no mechanical wear).2) ORIGINAL Retail Sales Receipt showing original mileage ON, attached to the adjustment claim form.3) Replacement retail sales receipt showing mileage OFF, attached to the adjustment claim form.4) A copy of rotation schedule (found in our warranty brochure), attached to the adjustment claim form.5) Credit will be pro-rated based on mileage received.

V. CONDITIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

No adjustment allowance will be issued on tires for conditions caused by improper front-end alignment or any other mechanical condition of the vehicle, improper inflation, improper mounting procedures (including broken beads), overloading, misapplication, use of under/over-sized tubes, racing, fire, vandalism, wreck, hitting a curb, or willful abuse. (An Externally Applied “Plug” Repair Without A Vulcanized Inside Patch Will Void The Coverage Under This Service Policy.)

See Warranty Brochure for details on Your Obligations, Usage Of Product, Limitation of Liability and otherGeneral Information.
