Our Customers Government organizations have been using the Adobe Connect platform for a wide range of mission-critical operations such as disaster response, military-base briefings, and Common Operational Pictures. Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN) has used Adobe Connect for interagency and public-private sector collaboration, Defense Connect Online (DCO) for unclassified and classified networks, and many more high security network use cases. Below are a handful of current Adobe Connect customers that have used the product in this way:

Hometown Disaster Recovery Agency Response organizations can put together a Common Operational Pictures (COP) environment. This provides access to the organization personnel, government officials, and civilian personnel. Civilian personnel may include local businesses or community leaders. In the example below, the fictional Hometown Disaster Recovery Agency is meeting remotely in response to a flood in the local area. Each pod in their Adobe Connect room provides different pieces of relevant information, composing the entire COP. These pods include:

• A notes pod with contact information for local civilian officials

• An attendee pod to see who is in the room at any point in time

• A second notes pod that offers a timeline of events as captured/recordedby the host(s)

• A chat pod for everyone to communicate non-verbally in the room

• A file transfer pod that allows attendees to download key resources

Hennepin County Adobe Connect is being used to deliver virtual “Board of Commissioners Meetings” in response to COVID-19. These meetings include briefings with city, county, and state leaders. Hennepin County Officials use Adobe Connect as their virtual platform to review their county's current status and to discuss how their leaders can help their constituents in the wake of this pandemic. As constituents join the meeting, they can raise their hand and the leaders will allot 3 minutes for them to speak.

The Adobe Connect pods allow flexibility to customize the meetings. Each pod in use has a very specific purpose in this meeting, listed below:

• The share pod is used to go over PowerPoints and videos

• Timer is used to countdown the time the constituents have to speak

• Closed Captioning is available for 508C

• The Adobe Connect Countdown times is used to time the constituents
