Stage of adolescence

Adolescence, these years from puberty to adulthood, may be roughly divided into three stages: early adolescence, generally ages eleven to fourteen; middle adolescence, ages fifteen to

seventeen; and late adolescence, ages eighteen to twenty-one. In addition to physiological growth, seven key intellectual, psychological and social developmental tasks are squeezed into

these years. The fundamental purpose of these tasks is to form one’s own identity and to prepare for adulthood.

Common problems of adolescence

Addictions in adolescence are a major public health problem.

Risks and damages they cause are different according to each substance,

but are always extremely dangerous.

Recommendation

Being a teenager is not easy. Teens may be under a lot of stress at school, at home and with friends, and the expectation to be perfect can be overwhelming. Hopefully, teens who want to be responsible will find help through many people. Being a responsible teenager is about finding who you are and follow some simple rules. It is important to surround yourself with good friends.
