Installation After subscribing to the “ADP for Microsoft Teams” app, follow these steps to begin your engagement with our ADP Virtual Assistant bot. Note: Login to the “Microsoft Teams Integration App” is restricted to the HR practitioner

that initially subscribed to the “ADP for Microsoft Teams” app; however, this practitioner can assign the “Microsoft Teams Integration App Admin Role” to other associates within his/her organization by clicking the “Roles” tab and assigning the admin role upon successful login. See Step 4 below.

It is not necessary to assign users to the “ADP for Microsoft Teams” app within the Marketplace store. After installing the ADP Virtual Assistant bot in your Teams tenant, all users within that tenant will be able to interact with the bot.

Step 1 • From within the Marketplace Store -> go to “My apps” and click “ADP for Microsoft

Teams”.

Step 2 • Within “ADP for Microsoft Teams”, click “Connect to Microsoft Teams”.

• Follow the prompts presented by Microsoft Teams and ADP to authorize ADP Virtual

Assistant to communicate with your Teams tenant. Step 3 • Configure ADP features for your team.

Note: Widget availability will vary based on the products you have setup with ADP.

Step 4 (Optional) • From within the Microsoft Teams Integration App -> go to “ROLES”, find a user to

assign the Microsoft Teams Integration App admin role, and grant that person access.

Interacting with the ADP Virtual Assistant Bot in Microsoft Teams After installation is complete, employees within your organization can interact with our ADP Virtual Assistant bot in Microsoft Teams. Note: Each employee must individually install ADP Virtual Assistant. Step 1 • Within Microsoft Teams, click the “Store” icon. Step 2 • Search for “ADP”, and select “ADP Virtual Assistant”.

• Follow the prompts to complete the installation. Step 3 • Select the ellipses (three horizontal dots) and click the “ADP Virtual Assistant” to

begin your interaction with the ADP Virtual Assistant.

Step 4 • Greet the bot to get started.
