ESPORTS I AGES 5+ Thornton Parks, Recreation and Community Programs has partnered with Mission Control to offer a variety of online sports leagues and tournaments to players of all ages and skill levels. Esports is one of the fastest-growing programs in the world. Esports leagues are a lot like other sports leagues; registration is taken, games are scheduled, standings are posted and a champion is crowned! Games such as Mario Kart, Super Smash Brothers, Rocket League, NBA2K, FIFA, NHL, Madden Football, Fortnite and Call of Duty are available now and more will be added soon. YOUTH SPORTS GIRLS SOFTBALL LEAGUES I AGES 4-17 Come join the fun this summer and be a part of the Thornton Girls Softball Leagues! Registration for girls softball will be March 1-April 18 and the fee includes a t-shirt, a minimum of nine games and a pool party at the end of the season. Practices start the week of April 26 and games will be May 17-July 30. Practices are held twice a week (once a week for tee ball and coach pitch) after 5 p.m. on weekdays at various locations.
