‘Philippians’ Teacher: Keith Mask, Prof. at Freed Hardeman Classroom Group: Cornerstone Room: CAC It is easy to rejoice and be happy when things are going well in our lives. But Paul wrote, “Rejoice in the Lord always” when he was in prison. Paul experienced a joy that was not dependent on circumstances; a contentment that difficulties, church division, and even the possibility of death could not suppress. Join us this summer as we explore Paul’s message to a struggling church that had lost its focus. Paul will teach the Philippians and us that we can live joyfully in the midst of troubles by keeping our focus on Jesus.

‘Identity Theft: Reclaiming Who God Created You To Be’ Teacher: Mark Hawk Classroom Group: Seekers Room: 114 Who are you? You’re more than a gender, a job, or jumbled chromosomes. In Christ, you’re created to be special and for a purpose. We’ll explore why and for what in this class.

‘Coming To Terms: Understand The Meaning Behind Our Words‘ Teacher: Alan DeJarnatt Classroom Group: The Upper Room Room: 216 We use a lot of church words that can have altered meanings with use over time. By discussing together and refining definitions according to the Word of God we will deepen our Kingdom awareness.

Wednesday Night Classes May 30, 2018 - August 29, 2018 - Regular adult classes resume August 8, 2018.

All classes will meet in the CAC on Wednesday nights beginning May 30 and continuing through August 1. A meal will be served at 6:30 followed by a short devotion. The meal cost is $2 per person, children under 2 are free. Please complete the form in the bulletin if you plan on attending the meal or email Ava Storie at avastorie@skylinechurch.com.

The middle of the week can sometimes feel like a desert. Therefore, we call Wednesdays Oasis. This is a time to take in food for our souls, in the middle of the week, in the form of fellowship and spiritual conversation.

College students are encourage to come and be a part of The Gathering on Wednesday nights each week in the CAC. This is a time for food and fellowship as we journey together into the parables of Christ. The meal will be served from 6:30 - 7:10, followed by a short devotional at 7:15. Cost of the meal is $2 per person. In order to provide enough food, please email Ava Storie if you plan on attending, avastorie@skylinechurch.com.

Please Note: All College students are encouraged to continue to meet on Wednesday nights in the CAC with the adult class as regular classes resume on August 8 and will continue until August 29.
