All classes meet on Sunday mornings from 10-10:50 AM. Classes are listed beginning with our youngest group. Mosaics Sunday School Class Couples & Singles-20’s-35 Teaching Style: Facilitated discussion Meeting Location: Stabler Conference Room Led by: Kelsey and Jay Windham Other: Our mission is to passionately serve young adults in their 20s and 30s by giving them a place to know Jesus Christ and a conduit to grow as a community in their knowledge of Jesus Christ. We use current, high quality video studies from well-known pastors and authors to examine church doctrine, history and issues. Wesley Sunday School Class Couples & Singles-20’s-40’s, with & without children Teaching Style: Teacher-led discussion Meeting Location: Room 308 Led by: Greg Gambril Other: We are a well-organized class with a weekly email newsletter. We are intentional about class nurture and care and we are committed to growing deeper in our faith through Bible-based study, missions, and service. Conversations Class Couples & Singles-30’s & 40’s Teaching Style: Open Conversation Meeting Location: Room 302 Led by: Dayna and Kris Strickland Other: This class is a new class that has formed as a small group to discuss issues in an informal atmosphere. We are using the curriculum "Fearless Conversation" to guide our discussions. Grace Sunday School Class Couples & Singles-30’s & 40’s Lesson Style: Teacher-led discussion Location: Room 221 Led by: Amy and Justin Smith Lesson Content: Emphasis on Bible study Other: Our format is discussion style study of specific books of the Bible each week. Other relevant topics to the class are presented for use in everyday life situations. Suppers and other social activities provide members with opportunities to build Christian relationships. Advent Sunday School Class Couples & Singles-40’s-50’s Teaching Style: Discussion led by class members Meeting Location: Room 306 Led by: Brad Almond, Cynthia Almond, Jimmy Mixon Lesson Content: Bible study, life issues, Christian literature. Other: Wide diversity of backgrounds experiences and views. We are ex-convicts, judges and lawyers; bikers and professors; architects and electricians! Emphasis on free and honest discussion, open dialogue and loving disagreement, all tied to spiritual growth and active discipleship. All are welcome! Other: Our class is committed to serving the youth ministry of our church. We share with each other our successes and struggles in raising youth in today's culture. New Life Sunday School Class Couples & Singles-40’s-60’s Teaching Style: Teacher led discussion Meeting Location: Room 307 Led by: Members of the class share leadership Lesson Content: Variety of studies including Bible study, spiritual growth and social issues.

Other: Married with teenage and grown children. This is an active class who provides care for each other, is active together in missions and social events. We keep up with each other through email and welcome new members. Ecclesia Sunday School Class Couple & Singles-30+ Teaching Style: Facilitated discussion Meeting Location: Room 215 Led by: Shannon Templeton and Jan Kizziah Lesson Content: In-depth Bible study Other: We are committed to Bible study, missions and service. We welcome new members at any time during the year. Weekly newsletters keep our members informed of upcoming studies, mission opportunities, church events and prayer requests and updates. Covenant Sunday School Class Couples & Singles-50’s-60’s Teaching Style: Teacher led discussion Meeting Location: Room 303 Led by: Teaching rotation of class members Lesson Content: Bible study, spiritual growth, social issues, church issues. Other: Both married and single with grown children. We are a well-organized and welcoming class with a weekly email newsletter. We are intentional about class nurture and care. We support a Weekend Community Soup Bowl Team and have occasional class social events and mission projects. The Covenant Class is a great group of committed Christian adults. Come and join us. Asbury Sunday School Class Couples & Singles-50+ Teaching Style: Teacher led discussion Meeting Location: Room 222 Led by: Jenny Benefield, Bill Donald, Stephenie and David Justice, Claire Stephens Lesson Content: Wide variety of studies Other: The Asbury Class describes itself as a group of caring, theologically progressive people who are interested in growing in faith and in their ability to serve God. Diverse viewpoints are respected. Various mission projects are supported. There is a weekly email and an occasional covered dish supper. New members and guests are welcome. Genesis Sunday School Class Couples & Singles-60+ Teaching Style: Teacher led discussion Meeting Location: Room 304 Led by: Dr. Hiram Johnson Lesson Content: Primarily Bible study, mission studies Other: The Genesis Class is both couples and singles and all are welcome. The usual class is lecture/discussion on a Bible-based topic. Most of our service projects involve the Cooking for Christ ministry, which benefits mission projects. Social gatherings are casual and scheduled throughout the year. There is a strong mission emphasis in this class. Come and serve God with us. Artos Sunday School Class Couples & Singles-65+ Teaching Style: Teacher led discussion Meeting Location: Room 220

Led by: Officers elected for a 6 month term Lesson Content: Wide variety of topics including Bible study, spiritual growth, social issues, church issues. Other: Married, single, widowed, and divorced with grown children. A diverse class membership with excellent lessons. We provide quality class care, participate together in mission and social events, with a weekly email newsletter. We welcome new members and would love for you to come and be part of the Artos Class. Friendship Sunday School Class Couples & Singles-65+ Teaching Style: Lecture and discussion. Occasional guest speakers. Meeting Location: Room 212 Led by: Wade Miller and Ann Curry Lesson Content: Primarily Bible study with spiritual growth and social issues discussed. Other: Our class is made up of married, widowed, and divorced persons who are strong in class care toward one another. We have occasional social events and follow up carefully with each other. Lee Sunday School Class Couples & Singles-70’s Teaching Style: Lecture Meeting Location: Room 110 Led by: Class officers and rotating guest teachers Lesson Content: International Bible Lessons Other: Made up of married, widowed, and divorced persons, the Lee Class is strong in Bible study and in class care. We are faithful in keeping in touch with each other and caring for each other in times of difficulty. If you want to be part of a caring group, the Lee Class is for you.
