Join Hagit Berdishevsky and John Tunney (Clinical Director of the ECOP conservative spine program at Columbia University Medical Center) This course was designed as an opportunity to have more in-depth discussions of Schroth concepts for adults, special populations, and the more difficult cases. We will help ensure that you are evaluating and classifying even the most difficult curves. In addition, as the C1 and C2 courses have evolved, there is new material that you may not have received if you took the courses even a year or two ago. Get the most updated information today! Participants are encouraged to bring a case presentation. This is a great opportunity to get feedback from other experienced therapists on some of your more challenging cases.

• What to do when it’s not so clear: 5-10 difficult cases (x-ray and clinical evaluation) from the participants and the teacher. Example: two curves that are close to each other, high TL vs Low thoracic.

• Overview Clinical Evaluation: Posture, Plumb, ATR • X-ray Evaluation • Classification Guided Lab

• Deeper understanding of the mechanics of the Rigo Cheneau type brace;

• Current research- why don't we all agree on bracing concepts • How to know if the brace is working and when to call your

orthotist

12:30-1:30 1:30-2:00 Lecture:

• 50% in-brace correction, is it a need or a myth and how to achieve an optimal correction with bracing
