APPLICATION CRITERIA

AM I ELIGIBLE TO APPLY?

• You must be a Malaysian citizen with a Malaysian IC, between the age of 17 and 23, and

currently pursuing your first degree or completed/completing your pre-university studies

• You must have a conditional/unconditional offer from any reputable university to pursue a full-

time first degree programme

WHAT MUST MY ACADEMIC RESULTS BE?

• You must have obtained the following academic results:

o STPM & A-Levels: At least 3As

o International Baccalaureate: At least a scoring of 34

o MUFY & Curtin Foundation: At least a scoring of 80

o UEC: At least 5As

o AUSMAT & Canadian Matriculation: At least a scoring of 90.0

o Matriculation, Foundation, Pre-U, Diploma & Degree: At least a CGPA of 3.40

WHAT ARE THE OTHER CRITERIA?

• You must have a good command of English

• You must show leadership qualities and active participation in extra-curricular activities

• You must show proof of financial need

• You must not already be a recipient of a scholarship, loan (including PTPTN) or financial

assistance from any other organization. In the event that your application is successful, you will

have to give up all other forms of financial aid. You will have to provide us with written proof

from the funding body that you are no longer receiving their financial aid or bonded with them.

Gamuda is also not responsible for repaying the amount that you have received from the other

funding body.

• You must be willing to serve the Gamuda Group for a specified period upon graduation

HOW DO I APPLY?

The application form consists of nine sections and will take approximately one hour to complete.

One of the sections requires you to write a 300-word short essay.

WHAT SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS ARE NEEDED?

• Academic results from SPM (or equivalent) onwards.

• Offer letter from institution(s) of higher learning.

• Latest academic transcripts (if currently pursuing an undergraduate degree).

• Parent(s)' latest income documentations e.g. pay slip, EA form, J form, pension slip. I’M HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE APPLICATION FORM
