Background: Emergency Medicine development in Georgia has made large strides and the specialty of emergency medicine is well recognized by Georgians as one of the pillars of public health and acute care. The availability of specialized emergency care is increasing in the country which creates the need for an increasing number of emergency medicine specialists. Although, emergency medicine residency training is ongoing in Georgia, advanced clinical workshops are needed to enhance the knowledge and skills o current emergency medicine physicians who can in turn deliver this knowledge to a broader audience of physicians who are practicing in Georgian emergency departments, hospitals and clinics.

Background:

Emergency Medicine development in Georgia has made large strides and the specialty of emergency medicine is well recognized by Georgians as one of the pillars of public health and acute care. The availability of specialized emergency care is increasing in the country which creates the need for an increasing number of emergency medicine specialists.
