Advanced Diploma of Program Management (BSB61215) This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in program management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. A program is defined as a set of interrelated projects, each of which has a project manager. ‘Multiple projects’, or ‘a program of projects’, refers to a number of related projects managed by the same person as a program to achieve organisational objective/s. It applies to individuals who are program managers, managing or directing a suite of projects (a program) to achieve organisational objectives. In many cases a PMO Manager may also be able to demonstrate competency and meet the requirements of the qualification. ACPM’s Advanced Diploma of Program Management provides the essential skills to lead and direct a program from business case to benefits realisation. This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in program management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.

Who Should Attend

Experienced Program Managers directing a program, or those looking to take their next career step in leading a program or manage a PMO.

Delivery Mode

Face-to-face facilitation, classroom delivery with discussion, activities, videos and case studies.

Qualification Requirements

To successfully attain the Advanced Diploma of Program Management participants must:

• Attend a five day Advanced Diploma workshop. This workshop finalises the formal learning and supports participants in completion of the assessment process

• Complete assessment tasks against assessment elements defined in the Assessment Guide

• Attend an assessment interview and submit your Assessment Guide

• Complete the assessment within twelve months of the training

Course Pre-requisites

Participants will require access to a workplace opportunity to lead a Program or a Project Management Office, in order to provide opportunity to generate a workplace based portfolio of evidence.

Entry to this qualification is limited to those who:

• Have completed the Diploma of Project Management OR

• Have completed two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level within a project or program environment within an enterprise
