Purpose of this slide is to show all the probes, and that each year about 2 new probes are released : the family is growing, and new probes can be expected in 2010, 2011. 2005 : NaI based probe and 100cm² contamination probe 2006 : 2’ NaI probe and 20cm² contamination probes 2007 : SPAB-15 you might insist on difference between pancake probe and PIPS based probe – alpha beta discrimination , excellent discrimination (better than classical PM based tech), resistant to pressure unlike pancakes 2008 : STTC wide range probe – with one probe covers two competition probe or one probe with bad angular response as the two detectors shield each other. STTC has only one detector thanks to TTC patented tech. 2009 : SABG-15+ : there was the old SABG-15 which was not CSP. This one is CSP. It has also additional features : lockable connector (as all CSP probes), improved ergonomy, easy to change detector on site SN-S : Neutron probe for Neutron detection (no dose rate). Microphony is very low due to an integrated accelerometer. Weight also low for this kind of probe ; well balanced with CSP handle – this is a redesign of IPRON-N Tele STTC : Light weight LIGHT WEIGHT plus STTC advantages, integrated cable etc. You have to have it in hand !

All the probes, which are CSP Family core items can be plugged on all the survey meters : Radiagem , Avior, CSP DLL – this is dynamic linking library , ie instructions and functions to be called from a C++ software, so this is not a software but a tool to create a software. CSP MS a software dedicated to measurement will be released before end of the year. Finally Colibri – detailed in next slides


Application - Measurement Traceability

1 -Large touch screen with diplay of cumulative dose and dose rate. When external probe connected display of dose rate (instead of cum. Dose) but cum. Dose still monitored. There are different alarms on dose and dose rate. Alarm also on external probe 2- BT wireless connection with CSP COM. Up to 15m communication distance direct line of sight (see CSP COM presentation for other perfs – but other CSP COM do not work with Colibri). Autonomy is 25h00 for CSP COM BT module 3- Working area ex. Up to 8 probes connected simultaneously (7BT and 1 cable) NB : 7 total BT connections, if accessories are connected this reduces the channels. All probes are monitored on one Colibri so info centralized on one guy – immediate alarm
