Through prayer and your financial support, Shane Carter, Darleen and myself were able to travel to Kitale and West Pokot to lead a conference for church leadership. God allowed us to teach and challenge many pastors in how to shepherd, deal with church conflicts and disciple believers in how to disciple others. I had the opportunity to be part of a group of Pastors from the West Pokot region who graduated from our JLife one-year discipleship training. On the way back from the Conferences, we stopped at Lake Nivasha for a boat ride to see some animals. I held my 2 nd JLife training module with a group of pastors and church leaders and Shane was able to lead a teaching session. We were all very blessed and grateful how God used Shane to impact many pastors, church leaders, our school children and the community. We set up an opportunity for Shane to speak and share the gospel in our village Ruturu and Kongo Primary School. A local pastor who is attending my JLife GC2 Training has a soccer outreach to youth, which many are street boys. It is always a joy to walk through our village, love on the kids, and minister to the adults. After sharing at the Kongo School, AHKI presented to the coach of the Boys & Girls Team a Soccer Ball.

Advancing His Kingdom International Impacting Lives In Africa

Steps To The Future” Academy has a school banner! We are also blessed to have Makayla our granddaughter, Emily Voges and Abagail Briscoe here with us as AHKI Interns ministering to the school and community. (More pictures next month)

The 1st & 2nd grade classes planted a garden as a learning tool. Darleen used the process as an illustration for Christians to be cultivating & planting before we will see reaping. Then she asked if anyone one wanted to ask Jesus into his or her life, WOW! There were many who raised their hands. Giving God ALL the glory.
