ADVENTURE CENTERThe Mountaintop Experience, Quarry Activities and Guided Activities at Crystal Springs provide a wide range of recreation encouraging our guests to pursue new interests, cultivate friendships and enjoy family bonding. Enjoy the refreshing water, adventure and athletic activities.

MINERALS HOTEL MOUNTAINTOP EXPERIENCE $49 PER PERSON, ANY AGE WITH AN ADULT HOURS: 9:00AM - 5:00PM DAILY

The Mountaintop Experience at Minerals Hotel includes guided mountaintop fishing and archery, as well as canoeing, stand-up paddle boards, paddle boats, hiking, lake trampoline and swimming. Meet at the Adventure Center in Minerals lobby for shuttle to the Mountaintop.

FISHINGThe Mountaintop Lake is filled with large-mouth bass, bluegill, chain pickerel, perch, rock bass and sunnys. Fish from the beach dock or hike around the lake and fish from the rocky outcroppings. Poles are available.

ARCHERYLet your adventurous side take over as you release your first arrow. Safely mount and draw re-curve bows to release a set of arrows at a traditional short-distanced target. Participants must be 10 years old and up.

HIKING Miles of hiking on valley floors, steep ascents and ridge lines with outstanding views all are within minutes of Crystal Springs Resort, offering an incredible experience. The Resort offers hikes for all levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.

CANOES, PADDLE BOATS & STAND UP PADDLE BOARDSCome discover the new life of spring, the warmth of summer, or the beautiful colors of autumn from a canoe, paddle boat or paddle board. Whether you are a beginner or expert, refreshing waters await.

LAKE TRAMPOLINEJump, bounce, flip, and make a splash! This 3-person water bouncer is the perfect way to get vertical on our mountain lake and have loads of fun with family and friends. Participants must be 8 years old and up.

JUST CHILLEnjoy the beautiful sand beach with a lounge chair waiting for you. Bring one of our delicious picnic lunches (ordered in advance), a good book and sunscreen…then sit back and soak in the beauty and tranquility that surrounds you.

FISHING AT THE QUARRY$15 PER PERSON, ANY AGE WITH AN ADULT HOURS: 8:00AM-9:00AM / 9:00AM-10:00AM SUNDAY, TUESDAY, THURSDAY & SATURDAY

Discover the beauty of our unique fresh-water 100 ft. deep quarry at Grand Cascades Lodge. Stocked with trout, large-mouth bass, bluegill, chain pickerel, perch, rock bass and sunnys. Rods and bait provided. Our expert fishing instructors will teach you how to identify the various fish species. See the Front Desk at Grand Cascades Lodge.

ARCHERY AT THE QUARRY$25 PER PERSON, 10 YEARS OLD & UP HOURS: 11:00AM-12:00PM / 12:00PM-1:00PM SUNDAY, MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY & SATURDAY

Located adjacent to the fresh-water quarry at Grand Cascades Lodge, our newly built archery range showcases the finest in guided archery. A unique rustic log construction makes it an ideal place to take pictures and capture memories of your vacation. Bows, arrows, and instruction provided. See the Front Desk at Grand Cascades Lodge.

GUIDED ACTIVITIESMOUNTAINTOP HORSEBACK RIDING$75 PER PERSON, 10 YEARS OLD & UP HOURS: 9:30AM-4:30PM DAILY, EVERY HOUR; LAST RIDEOUT 3:30(RIDING TIME: 45 MIN, 15-MIN BREAK IN BETWEEN)

Meander along a shaded trail in the Hamburg Wildlife Preserve as you and your new four-legged companion spend the hour watching for flora, fauna and wildlife along the way. Guided rides are available for guests of any experience level, from beginner to advanced. For your comfort, we recommend you wear long pants and closed-toed shoes. Participants must be at least 10 years old. Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to reservation for a refund.

HIKE & KAYAK AT MOUNTAIN CREEK$25 PER PERSON, 5 YEARS OLD & UP HOURS: 3:00PM-6:00PM DAILY

Catch the shuttle to Mountain Creek, where your scenic adventure will begin aboard the gondola. As it carries you to the peak of Hamburg Mountain, you’ll get a bird’s-eye view of unique geological formations, multi-colored farmlands, pastures, lakes and natural mountains. At the top, you’ll be guided through the extensive network of trails. At the conclusion of your hike, receive a short lesson on the basics of paddling and water safety, after which you can embark on your kayak journey around Mountain Creek Lake. Meet at the Adventure Center in Minerals Lobby. Participants must be at least 5 years old and accompanied by an adult. (3-hour excursion)

FAMILY BIKING AT PAULINSKILL TRAIL$28 PER PERSON HOURS: 9:00AM-12:00PM DAILY

Hop aboard our Resort Adventure Bus for a scenic ride to the historic Paulinskill Rail Trail, once part of the New York-Susquehanna and Western Railroad line, in nearby Lafayette, NJ. Coast through a diverse landscape that features rock out-croppings, farmlands, small towns, forests and wetlands. Bikes and helmets are included. We have 5 different size categories of bikes, and a total of 12 bikes to rent per trip. Dress in layers. Backpack suggested. Participants must be at least 10 years old. Meet at the Adventure Center in Minerals Lobby. (3-hour excursion)

KNOCKERBALL™

$8 PER PERSON HOURS: 10:00AM-12:00PM & 4:00PM-6:00PM DAILY EVERY 30 MINUTES (20 MINUTE SESSION WITH A 10 MINUTE BREAK IN BETWEEN)

Knockerball™ is a new, over-the-top game where players wear inflatable spheres featuring inner handles and adjustable shoulder straps. Come play the game of KnockerSoccer - truly a blast, and may be more fun than you can handle! Participants must be 18 years old and up and at least 48” tall. Knockerball is located on the Minerals Pavilion Field behind the hotel.
