Adverb Clauses

• are dependent clauses that act as ADVERB modifiers in a sentence.

• create COMPLEX SENTENCES because they are DEPENDENT.

• They answer questions like: How? When? Where? To what degree?

• They MODIFY adverbs, adjectives, and/or verbs.
