INFORMATION SHEET Advertising and promotion The following opportunities are available to local health care providers, public health services and community organisations to advertise services and programs available in the North Brisbane and Moreton Bay region. While we aim to facilitate communication between health services and sectors, the PHN is not, however a mail service for other organisations. Brisbane North PHN will not: provide email addresses for individuals or any other personal details conduct mail-outs on behalf of other organisations disseminate marketing or other materials via email on behalf of other organisations (unless included in publications as stipulated below or unless there is a formal agreement in place do so, e.g. public health alerts) personally deliver goods or materials to other services sell or provide the contact details of general practices or other health care professionals to third parties for any purpose. Terms and Conditions

Publication of all materials is at the discretion of Brisbane North PHN. Inclusion is not guaranteed.

The PHN has final approval of all published material and reserves the right to omit or alter items.

Submission of copy is the responsibility of the author and must be received by the PHN by the specified date.

All copy should be written to a broad audience of health care and community service providers and professionals.

Images, photos and logos are to be provided as print quality PDF or high resolution (300dpi) JPG or EPS files.

Attachments and inserts cannot be accommodated.

Article contributions

The PHN offers publication of articles and information at no cost for not-for-profit health related organisations. The following criteria apply:

Article submissions are accepted from the following types of organisations:

o public-funded health serviceso community groups (health related)o not-for-profit groups and services

(health related)o health related services / providers that

offer free or subsidised health and lifestyle programs for the general public and that are considered to be of broad benefit to our community.

Article submissions will not be accepted from private health services, private companies or for-profit services. See Noticeboard and Advertising for alternative options.

Submissions should be written to a health professional audience and should consist of a profile of the service or program, including details about how health professionals and/or consumer access the service or program.

Word limit 400. Images, photos and logos are to be supplied as

print quality PDF or high resolution (300dpi) JPG or EPS files. Note: images contained within a MSWord document are not suitable.

Regular bookings not available.

Noticeboard

The Noticeboard page of Network Link offers space, at no cost, for brief items from any health related organisations and community groups, including private / for-profit services.

Noticeboard items are to be brief and relevant to a health audience. Typical items include service announcements, community health and health promotion activities, health, wellbeing and health professional resources.

Noticeboard items can include click-through URLs.

Space permitting logos can be included. Images are to be supplied as print quality PDF or high resolution (300dpi) JPG or EPS files. Note: images contained within a MSWord document are not suitable.

Advertising

Paid advertising options are available to private / for-profit and other organisations. In addition, a free basic listing of education opportunities is published in Network Link and on our website (see “Website advertising” for details).

The following conditions apply:

all paid advertising must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance

all advertising is to be paid prior to publication date.
