    The Shenandoah Community Foundation is a non-profit public

    foundation located in Shenandoah County. Its mission is to

    promote long-term charitable giving.

    The following financial information is taken from the Foundation's

    Federal tax return, which will be available on the Foundation's

    website in late Spring.

    Contributions to Foundation: $313,000

    Jeremy M. Cook Scholarship Fund: Established by the friends and family of Jer-

    emy Cook to provide a post-high school scholarship to Strasburg graduates.

    alumni of Central High School in memory of their departed classmates.

    Bonnie Gochenour Scholarship Fund: Established by the friends and family of

    Bonnie Gochenour to provide scholarships.

    Oliver "Butch" Orndorff Scouting Scholarship Fund: Established by the friends

    and family of Butch Orndorff to provide post-high school scholarships for area

    Boy Scouts.
