2013 symposium focused on social issues in health care delivery and featured keynote speakers Charles Barnett of the Seton Healthcare Family and Amy Edmondson, Ph.D., of Harvard Business School. 250 people attended this symposium.

2013 seminar focused on performance improvement and featured leading researcher in this area, Anita Tucker, Ph.D., Harvard Business School. 75 people attended this seminar.

Have worked with the local health care community to enhance the student experience by developing programs with UMC Brackenridge, Seton Healthcare Family, Central Health, and Austin Regional Clinic

Have reached out to the Austin health care community by involving 150 people from local health care organizations in a variety of programmatic efforts

Have developed plans with the Dell Medical School to leverage mutual synergies that will enhance the school’s teaching, research, and service missions
