Thank you for your commitment to supporting education in Baldwin County. We hope that these materials are helpful to ensure that two critical property taxes are renewed on March 1st, 2016. Together, let’s make sure that the public will VOTE to Renew 4 MILLS for our Children!

What Can You Do As A Supporting Organization? • Provide pledge cards to your employees or members via email or in print at

meetings. • Distribute the Fact Sheet to your employees, board, or members or provide them in

print at meetings or your front desk. • Consider including a payroll stuffer with paystubs. • Post information on your social media pages in support of the renewals (see

suggested social media posts.) • Put up a sign at your place of business on Monday, February 15th in support of the

renewals (signage can be requested by contacting your local Chamber of Commerce throughout Baldwin County.)

• Use the “VOTE to Renew” logo in your newsletter to draw attention to the renewals

vote in our community. (The logo is included in this advocacy toolkit). • Make your own stickers with the “VOTE to Renew” logo. • Email your membership database using the sample email in this toolkit. • Write a letter to the editor, or opinion and/or editorial pieces to the newspaper in

favor of the renewals. • Offer yourself to be interviewed by local news stations. When at an event, news

cameras are often looking for people to interview. Introduce yourself and offer to be interviewed in favor of the renewals.

• Call into radio or television stations or post on social media outlets of these news

stations that have open discussion forums and deliver messages from the Fact Sheet or social media posts.

• Remind your employees or members of the importance of voting on March 1st. Most

importantly, allow your employees time off to vote because it's that important.

• Following three months of an independent review, the 24-person Community Advisory Task Force reported the Baldwin County Public School System desperately needs these school taxes to continue to fund education in the county at its current level.

• The March 1st ballot will contain two items for voting:
