Luchtvaart Productiebedrijven

(POA: ‘Production Organisation Approval’).

In België is het BCAA bevoegd om deze vergunningen uit te

schrijven.

Obligations EASA • Ensure that the Production Organization Exposition (POE) is used as basic working

document

• Maintain the organization in conformity with the POE

• Determine that parts or appliances are complete and conform to the approved or applicable design data before issuing an EASA Form 1

• Record all details of work carried out

• Establish and maintain an internal occurrence reporting system

• Identify and report possible deviations from design data which could lead to unsafe conditions

• Provide assistance to the design approval holder in dealing with continuing airworthiness actions

• Establish an archiving system incorporating requirements imposed on its partners, suppliers and subcontractors

Notified body

16

Certification via certified notified body:

SGS as notified body for all facilities

• Basic certificate is still ISO9001:2008 according Belacs/ UKAS

• Accreditation for EN9100:2009 according Cofrac

• Different supporting guidelines

• Delivering parts under CoC (Certifcate of Conformity)

EASA vs IAQG: Tolerate

eachother

21

Difference between IAQG (non profit organisation) and EASA (European Aviation and Safety Agency):

See EASA issued decision ED 2005/01/CF, where was decided to establish internal certification working procedures.

Input from:

• It is not the intent of the Competent Authority (EASA) to

issue approvals to manufacturing firms that perform only

sub-contract work for main manufacturers of products and

are consequently placed under their direct surveillance.

See white paper: Difference between AS/EN9100 and Part 21G
