AFFIDAVIT

I, Pedro Robles, Filipino, of legal age, with address at 456 V&G Subdivision, Tacloban City, Leyte, Philippines, after having been duly sworn to in accordance with law hereby depose and state that:

1. On the 15th of February 2010, I was at home with my uncle and my cousin, Paula Pascual, when the former suffered a cardiac arrest due to malfunction of his life support system;

2. Prior to the abovementioned incident, I have heard my cousin, complaining about the burden and sacrifice she suffers from caring and providing for everything that her father needs;

3. I have noticed Pascual gripe about the clothesline and clips wherein recently there have been a few instances where her underwear was stolen;

4. I have seen Pascual tinkering with the life support system and had tampered with one of the wires leading to the clothesline;

5. After such, I have seen Pascual religiously check on the clothesline and clips everyday up until my uncle’s cardiac arrest;

6. I herein attest to the truthfulness of the foregoing facts.
