Detailed of Program for NSS Regular Activity 2014-15
Title of Activity :- Swachha Bharat Abhiyan
Date :- September 24th
, 2014
Duration :- One day ( 9:30am to 3:30 pm)
Venue :- Bus Stand , Parli-Vaijnath
Purpose of Activity:-
Our college is rural area and the students enrolled in the college are from nearly villages.
The improvement in rural life is a national objective therefore the NSS unit of the college
decided to undertake cleanness drive with following purpose so that students and
surrounding people will acquire good habits to contribute in civil life improvement.
1) To develop the awareness about cleanliness in life.
2) To develop hygienic attitude in rural area
3) To control pollution in rural area
4) To inculcate aesthetic attitude in life
5) To inculcate the value of any work in students
6) To help surrounding people for improving their lifestyle
On the occasion of NSS day 24/09/2014 was organized Cleanliness Awareness Rally &
Cleanliness drive and 100 students have participated in the drive. The activity function was
inaugurated by Principal Dr.R.K.Ippar in the presence of vice-principal Dr.D.V.Meshram,
Prof.D.K.Andhale, Dr.P.L.Karad, Prof. Uttam Kande, Prof. Narayan Palwade. The rally
follow path college college to Chivaji chouk-Bus stand- Railway station to Ek Minar Chouk
to Bus stands. The areas of central Bus stand Parli-Vaijnath were taken for the cleanliness
drive. The activity is under guidance of NSS program officer Rajesh Thombre, Raut T.D.,
Sainath Balwant, Dr.V.L.Phad, Prof. Dilip Gaikwad, Student Representative Rachan
Burkule, Amol Shinde, Sopan Choudar, Bhagwat Ingle, 129 volunteer are participated in
cleanliness drive activity.

The outcome of activity:-
1) Cleanliness Drive Rally created awareness the people on the way of Bus stand
2) Students enthusiastically participated program officer indicates that they understood the importance
of cleanliness in life.
3) Surrounding area of Railway stations and railway colony is cleaned
4) Cleaned surrounding creates freshness in the campus area
5) People get inspired by the activity.
6) Inculcation of importance of cleanliness in students was successful.
