COMMENTS FROM SURVEY• The African Immigrant

program has been an invaluable resource and worthy public service to the community. The cross- cultural experiences shared during the forums have been immense, telling the stories and acknowledging the contributions of a community whose stories are not often heard or told.

• I learned the similarities and differences between African and African American churches.

• I’ve begun realizing the valuable economic impact Africans in America have on the economy. It is staggering to realize how much in debt U.S. truly is to this segment.

• Information not seen on TV or heard in the news.
