Warning: DO NOT OPERATE THIS EQUIPMENT OVER 200 PSI

Danger: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE OR REPAIR ANY PART OF THE SYSTEM UNITIL IT IS COMPLETELY DEPRESURIZED. SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH MAY RESULT IF THIS RULE IS NOT FOLLOWED

1. Connect an air hose from the air supply to the inlet side of the aftercooler.

2. Connect an air hose from the aftercooler skid outlet to the equipment air inlet.

3. Start the compressor.

4. Slowly open the air inlet ball valve to pressurize the system.

5. Adjust the regulator for the air motor on the Filter-Regulator-Lubricator (FRL) (Instructions next page) to read the working pressure (PSI) on the label. NOTE: On hot days run the air motor at maximum pressure. (see chart next page)

6. Adjust the oil output on the lubricator (Clear Dial) by turning clockwise or counter clock-wise until there is the required drops of oil every minute. (see chart next page)

7. Open the air supply to the equipment. (if ball valve is equipped)

8. Slightly open the ball valve for the moisture separator (black canister) and let it drain while using the unit.

NOTE: COLD WEATHER OPERATION - The fan air motor should be regulated so that the aftercooler temperature gauge reads above 0°C to avoid freezing the core assembly. The aftercooler has a drain installed for cold weather climate areas and should be drained after every use to avoid core damage. Leave the aftercooler drain open when not in use.

NOTE: Working pressure is at 21°C (70°F) ambient temperature. In warmer weather the air motors can be operated up to or at the maximum pressure.

1. Close the ball valve on the outlet side of the aftercooler package or at the equipment. (if equipped)

2. Shut down the air supply to the aftercooler package.3. Open the drains for the aftercooler, coalescer and moisture separator.4. After the air is removed, close the air inlet ball valve.5. Leave all the drains open while storing.
