ANDY APOSTOL
Invesco
Andy Apostol is a Senior Stable Value Strategist and a member of the stable value group’s Executive Leadership Team. As the head of stable value client service, he is responsible for leading the team’s servicing initiatives with large institutional accounts. With over 25 years of stable value experience, Andy regularly serves as a resource during business development opportunities and has responsibility for the development of stable value-related topical and educational materials. Andy began his career with Willis Towers Watson (formerly Wyatt Asset Services) in 1991, where he focused on consulting on stable value investments with large defined contribution plan sponsors. In addition to his 15 years with the Invesco, Andy’s stable value experience includes four years with Galliard Capital Management and four years with Dwight Asset Management. His responsibilities have included portfolio management, client relationship management, evaluating externally managed fixed income strategies, negotiating benefit responsive wrap agreements, heading product development initiatives, authoring white papers, and presenting at industry conferences. Andy earned a B.S. degree in business administration from the University of Oregon. He increased his knowledge of retirement and benefit plans by achieving the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist designation and maintains membership in the International Foundation of Certified Employee Benefits Specialists. Andy is active in Toastmasters International and a member of the Phoenix Society of Financial Analysts.
JOHN BUDD
MassMutual
John Budd has been with MassMutual for 30 years in the institutional retirement market. He has a wide range of retirement plan consulting experience, working with a variety of plan sponsors and advisory firms. As Practice Leader for Institutional Products, his expertise is focused on stable value and defined benefit. In addition to advisory firm training on stable value, he has spoken on stable value at recent industry conferences including IMCA and ASPPA.
He earned his MBA, cum laude, from Babson College and his B.A. from St. Lawrence University. He enjoys tennis, sailing, and supporting a variety of local youth sports programs and civic organizations.

TODD COWMAN
Principal Financial Group
Todd Cowman has been with the Principal Financial Group since 1993. He works primarily with defined contribution and defined benefit clients, both qualified and nonqualified, with up to $1B in retirement plan assets, designing an overall retirement program that is both cost-effective to employers and meaningful to employees, while continuing to meet strict regulatory requirements. Todd has focused much of his efforts around mergers and acquisitions, helping plan sponsors understand the unique plan design challenges that arise and navigating available options. He has assisted in developing multiple written documents related to this topic which are frequently used by plan sponsors and other financial professionals. Todd also assists plan sponsors in resolving plan operational/qualification failures and negotiating corrections with the Internal Revenue Service. Todd is often asked to speak on various plan design topics at client-specific and industry conferences as well as supporting our sales efforts in the field by participating in SWAT visits both in and outside Principal’s Corporate Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Todd earned his Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) designation from ASPPA in 2008.
MICHAEL DOMINGOS
Prudential
Michael Domingos, Vice President, Corporate Distribution and Strategy, has responsibility for leading the corporate market sales team nationally. This includes overseeing the development and execution of the distribution strategies for defined contribution, pension, and nonqualified plan services in corporate markets. Mike ensures retirement plan products and services offered by Prudential Retirement are customized to meet the needs of clients in target markets. Mike entered the financial services industry in 1993, when he joined Prudential. Mike has a B.S. in business administration from the University of Hartford and is a Series 6, 7, 24, and 63 registered principal. Mike has volunteered his time to a number of notable charitable organizations, including serving on the Host Committee for UNICEF Chicago, and through membership in the Red Cross Blood Drive, Habitat for Humanity, and the United Way.

Jill Farrell is responsible for managing client relationships, which includes public and corporate retirement plans, endowments, and foundations. Prior to her current role, she was responsible for developing new institutional client and consultant relationships in the Midwest and South. Jill also has served as the firm’s vice president, client relations, and was responsible for the oversight and direction of client service and sales support activities for the company’s National Accounts division. Before beginning her investment industry career with American Century Investments in 1992, Jill was a media relations consultant and writer. Previously, she was a publicity and marketing associate at Walt Disney Studios. She earned a bachelor’s degree in communication arts from Hastings College and a master’s degree in communication from the University of Arkansas. Jill holds FINRA Series 7, 6, and 63 licenses.
MARK GREENWAY
J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc.
Mark Greenway serves as senior vice president of Human Resources at J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. Greenway is responsible for the health and welfare benefits plan design and strategy, talent management, and the training and development of a workforce of more than 24,000 employees and contractors. Over the past 29 years at J.B. Hunt, he has held various management and operations positions including working in risk management and customer service. Mark received his bachelor’s degree in natural science from the University of Arkansas. Previously, he served as a president of the Southwest Benefits Association, a nonprofit educational association, and now serves on the board of directors for Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield. Mark is involved in several charitable organizations and is a member of the advisory board for the Center of Relationship Enrichment at John Brown University. He also serves on the board of directors of JOYN, an organization committed to enhancing the spiritual and physical lives of people in underdeveloped communities throughout the world. Mark has written numerous articles on topics ranging from compensation strategies to healthcare initiatives, and he has been featured in various magazines for his leadership in the human resources field.

T. Rowe Price
Andrew Heiges is a Vice President of T. Rowe Price Group and is the Group Manager for Retirement Plan Advice, Retirement Income, and Financial Wellness. He joined T. Rowe Price in October 2016 from TIAA, where he was the Senior Director of Financial Planning and Advice Platforms. Prior to TIAA, he was the principal and owner of Acumen Financial Services Consulting, LLC, where he provided project and management consulting to various large financial services consulting, as well as working at Merrill Lynch in various roles for over 15 years. Other organizations Andy worked at were Deutsche Bank, Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC), and Vanguard. Andy holds a CFP® designation, as well as FINRA series 7, 24, and 66 licenses. He graduated from La Salle University in Philadelphia with dual degrees in marketing and in human resources.
MARK HOLT
Travelers Insurance
Mark Holt graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1986 with a degree in Finance. He started in the insurance industry with the Aetna Casualty & Surety Company in 1987 as a bond account executive working with construction surety, financial institution fidelity, and commercial fidelity insurance. From 1990 to 2004, worked with Hallmark Cards, Inc. His responsibilities ranged from systems development to finished goods buyer. In 2004, he returned to the insurance industry with the newly merged St.Paul/Travelers companies and in 2008 was given the opportunity to manage the Kansas City Management Liability Team. His team handles marketing, underwriting, and training for private company and not-for-profit organization’s directors & officers liability, employment practices liability (including work place violence), fiduciary liability, crime, kidnap & ransom, and cyber liability.

Wells Fargo Asset Management
Andy Hunt serves as the head of liability-driven investing and global credit at Wells Fargo Asset Management. In this capacity, he focuses on building out the firm’s LDI solutions, creating a cohesive global credit platform and overseeing the portfolio management teams that have strong credit-based strategies. Andy joined Wells Fargo Asset Management in 2014 from BlackRock where he served as the head of North American solutions for corporate pensions plans, including US liability-driven investment capabilities, since 2005. Earlier, he was a partner at Watson Wyatt (now Willis Towers Watson) in the United Kingdom since 1992 serving in various roles as an actuary, senior investment consultant, and head of investment consulting for defined contribution. Andy earned his degree in mathematics from Cambridge University. He has earned the right to use the CFA as well as FIA designations.
NADINE KELLER
Precision Sales Coaching
Nadine Keller is a founding partner at Precision. She has over 25 years of experience in sales and sales management training, coaching, and consulting. Throughout the 1990s, as the director of sales training for The Chase Manhattan Bank, she developed an in-depth understanding of best in class sales and marketing behaviors, processes, and procedures. She developed, designed, and delivered numerous strategic programs that combined “learning while doing” and worked with very senior and demanding clients and audiences from investment banking, capital markets, operating services, asset management, and private banking. She has worked closely with Asian, European, and South American audiences.
After the merger of The Chase Manhattan Bank and Chemical Bank, Ms. Keller served as the personal communications consultant to the Vice Chairman for two years and was later appointed director of marketing for the Global Bank. In 1998, Ms. Keller left Chase to start her own consulting practice. She has worked with numerous companies in and outside of financial services in designing, sourcing, and delivering sales training curriculums. Her constant focus is on helping companies increase their sales effectiveness. Frustrated with the limitations of traditional classroom training, she looked for more effective and efficient ways to develop sales effectiveness. This work culminated in the creation of Precision Sales Coaching and Training in 2006 and Nimbus Cloud Coaching Inc. in 2014. Ms. Keller is an avid writer and speaker. Her most recent work is a book titled Make It All About Them: Winning Sales Presentations, published by Wiley in 2014.

David N. Levine advises plan sponsors, advisors, and other service providers on a wide range of employee benefits matters, from retirement and executive compensation to health and welfare plan matters. David’s areas of service include the redesign of complex pension, defined contribution, and executive plans arising out of merger and acquisition activities; ongoing, day-to-day counseling of companies with respect to retirement and executive plan issues; in-depth compliance reviews of corporate qualified and nonqualified retirement plans; guidance on retirement plan issues relating to the Age Discrimination in Employment Act; design, implementation, and maintenance of governmental and tax-exempt organization retirement and welfare benefit programs; and representation of tax-exempt organizations with respect to issues involving corporate governance, executive compensation, and unrelated business income tax liability. His significant projects have included the integration of more than 20 distinct defined benefit plans into a single, simplified plan document while addressing protected benefit issues relating to each of the merged defined benefit plans, the drafting of unique “plain English” plan documents for use by both legal and human resources departments, thus eliminating the need for complex interpretive manuals, and the design of specimen nonqualified deferred compensation and tax-deferred annuity plans for institutional service providers.

Zeus Industrial Products, Inc.
Scott Lloyd is General Counsel & Vice President of Administration for Zeus Industrial Products, Inc. Scott joined Zeus in February 2012 as its first ever General Counsel. In April 2013, Scott was promoted to Vice President of Administration. In January 2017, Scott was named to the Board of Directors of Zeus. Scott is a member of Zeus’ Retirement Committee and also chairs Zeus’ Retirement Subcommittee. Scott holds a juris doctor degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio, and a bachelor of arts in economics from Ohio Wesleyan University, Delaware, Ohio. Scott is a licensed attorney in both Ohio and South Carolina.
Zeus is a privately owned company headquartered in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Its core business is the development and precision extrusion of advanced polymeric materials. The company employs 1,250 people worldwide with manufacturing facilities in Aiken, Gaston, and Orangeburg, South Carolina; Branchburg, New Jersey; and Letterkenny, Ireland. Zeus products and services serve companies in the medical, automotive, aerospace, fiber optics, energy, and fluid management markets.

WILLIAM J. MCDERMOTT
Empower
Bill McDermott is a Senior Vice President responsible for the large, mega and not-for-profit markets for Empower Retirement. He is responsible for the quality of service to the more than 400 clients in the large, mega, and not-for-profit markets.
A 30-year veteran in the benefits and retirement industry, Bill joined the organization in 2012. Before coming to Empower, he led the defined contribution business within Goldman Sachs Investment Management. His previous experience includes leadership roles as the head of defined contribution and outsourcing for large plans for Fidelity Investments; head of corporate markets and a member of the executive committee at AXA Equitable; and head of business development in the New York market and partner for Hewitt Associates. In each of these roles, Bill worked with clients and consultants to help employees retire successfully.
Bill holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Villanova University. He is a frequent speaker at investment and retirement industry events. In addition, 401kWire has recognized Bill as one of the most influential people in the defined contribution industry.
TOM MCNAB
RiskFirst, LLC
Tom McNab, FSA, is on the account management and software integration team at RiskFirst, LLC, a financial technology company based out of London and New York with its flagship product, PFaroe, assisting consultants and investment managers in the provision of investment strategy, solutions design, and LDI reporting for defined benefit pension plans. He works with a number of organizations in the US, across the actuarial and investment community, in implementing PFaroe to improve their delivery of DB services to their clients. He is a US pensions actuary by training, having practiced traditional retirement consulting for a number of years with Willis Towers Watson prior to joining RiskFirst. Tom is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and earned a degree in actuarial science and finance from Drake University.

Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.
Scott Murray and his team manage the authentication and fraud detection systems for Charles Schwab’s client-facing websites and applications. He joined Schwab in 2008. Before Schwab, Murray was a senior network architect for The Alden-James Group in Novato, California, and head of North American sales for Webmotion Engineering of Ottawa and San Francisco. He has over 18 years of experience in a broad range of technologies including network design and integration, firewall management, and web engineering for the financial services industry.
VIJU NAMBIAR
PIMCO
Viju Nambiar is a senior vice president and pension solutions strategist in the Newport Beach office. He focuses on liability-driven investments, asset allocation, and asset-liability management strategies for pension funds and insurance companies. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2009, he was with Towers Perrin, where he was responsible for actuarial valuations, stochastic funding forecasts, and asset-liability studies. He has eight years of investment experience and holds an undergraduate degree in actuarial science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master’s degree in financial engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
JIM PONDEL
Morely Capital Management
Jim has 18 years of financial service experience, including ten years in stable value. Jim is responsible for building and retaining relationships with prospective and existing clients directly and through consultants, platforms, TPAs and advisors. Previously, he was a Senior Investment Consultant for Aon Hewitt. Prior to that, Jim was a relationship manager for stable value clients at ABN-AMRO Bank. He holds a MBA DePaul University, Kellstadt Graduate School of Business; B.S. (finance), University of Illinois, Chicago.

CAROL WADDELL
Empower
Carol Waddell leads the IRA and Empower Brokerage businesses. She oversees the asset consolidation and tax-deferred protection programs across all defined contribution segments for Empower Retirement. Previously, Carol served as head of product and marketing for J.P. Morgan Retirement Plan Services, joining the firm in 2012. At J.P. Morgan, she led product management and development, which included products, services, tools, and websites for advisors, plan sponsors, and participants. Carol oversaw the firm’s marketing strategy and communications, the segment management and the award-winning participant experience. Before her time at J.P. Morgan, Carol worked for T. Rowe Price for more than 17 years. During her tenure, she served in various leadership roles. She provided oversight for defined contribution, defined benefit, and nonqualified plan product development and marketing, including customer digital channels, investment products, and services for intermediaries, plan sponsors, and participants. In addition, Carol contributed significantly to the firm’s overall retirement income and target date product strategies. Before T. Rowe, she worked for Citibank for nine years in a variety of positions focused on marketing and customer experience.
