Retrofitted homes in one Carib community in Dominica survived hurricanes Luis and Marilyn in 1995, while neighboring non-retrofitted homes were damaged.

Identify Regulatory and Voluntary Performance Approaches Organic Certified Agriculture, Certified sustainable eco-tourism, Forest Certification) Four examples are Marin Organic Certified Agriculture (United States), Starbucks (shade coffee from Central America), Home Depo(certified forest products from Chile) and Green Globe certified hotels throughout the Caribbean.
