This analytic exercise sought to identify existing Ace stores with high-untapped demand for unique product assortments known as “niches”. These niches do not fit well in every store. As a result, data mining was employed to tease out the key success attributes of stores selling those niches. Those learnings were used to identify other Ace stores with a high level of market potential for a given niche.
