Model Block Concept Remove dilapidated housing Infill individual lots with appropriate new housing Utilize larger available parcels for public use (i.e. pocket parks, community gardens, stormwater runoff) Create buffers between properties and uses Install infrastructure (i.e. sidewalks, stormwater control, street lighting) Expand the transportation network to create neighborhood-scale blocks and connect to surrounding areas

4th Street Extension-Alternative 1 Extend 4th Street west of Jessup and down to 7th Redevelop northwest and northeast quadrants of 4th/7th intersection Link development to 2nd Baptist Church and explore opportunities for a development partnership

4th Street Extension-Alternative 2 Extend 4th Street west of Jessup and down to 7th Remove Jessup between 4th St and 7th St Redevelop 7th St frontage between 4th and O’Neal Redevelop area in the block bound by 4th, 7th, and Cleveland as a comprehensive redevelopment project Link development to 2nd Baptist Church and explore opportunities for a development partnership

Concept 2 Preserve existing housing between Walnut and Campbell Create Gateway Park and south end of greenway Transform Campbell into a landscaped corridor as primary route to downtown

Vine and 2nd Town Center Concept Revive the historic neighborhood commercial activity and Vine and 2nd Preserve a portion of the old school facility for community use , and redevelop the remainder of the site as open space or residential Strengthen Campbell St as a local commercial corridor Create links to downtown and the historic Attucks School

Attucks School Reuse Concept Preserve the historic portion of the Attucks School building for community use Remove the Attucks School addition and redevelop the land as residential Utilize the eastern portion of the Bible College site as community open space/stormwater retention area Create a link to the Vine/2nd Town Center
