1 Overview

AgentMaxOnline can now connect to both ClientBase Plus & ClientBase Online to facilitate insurance

bookings. Customer data can be taken from the Res Card and pre-populated into our tool for the

insurance sale & upon completion of the insurance, AgentMaxOnline will send data back to ClientBase.

2 FAQ

Q: Does AgentMaxOnline work with both versions of ClientBase (Plus & Browser)?

A: Yes.

Q: Is any special set up needed, within my version of ClientBase, to support the connection?

A: Yes, some. Please see the appropriate section of this guide depending on your version of ClientBase

for instructions.

Q: Will commission details transfer from AgentMaxOnline back to my version of ClientBase?

A: Yes.

Q: Are there any internet browser limitations?

A: Yes, Internet Explorer version 9 or newer is required.

Q: I currently use the https://partner.allianztravelinsurance.com site but have never used

AgentMaxOnline before what should I do?

A: If you already have an account with our old site, simply go to www.agentmaxonline.com , fill in your

current email address & password, then click Log In. You will be prompted from there on how to

continue.

Q: I have never used the http://partner.allianztravelinsurance.com site and have never used

AgentMaxOnline; what should I do?

A: Simply go to www.agentmaxonline.com and from the main page, click the link for Create New

Account.

Q: What happens if I use LiveConnect with AgentMaxOnline but don’t log in?

A: Either the User Name/Password are required or an Account number is. However, if you don’t log in

with your User Name/Password, the sale will not be tied to your Agent ID in our records.

3 Set up w. ClientBase Plus

3.1 Creating a New LiveConnect Profile

First we need to create a new LiveConnect provider for AgentMaxOnline, so you can connect from the

Res Card.

Open ClientBase Plus, click on Utilities and then LiveConnect Providers.

A new window will appear showing a list of all providers. Select Add.

Fill in the form that appeard just as it shows below and click OK.

3.2 Updating our Vendor Profile

Next, we need to update the Allianz Global Assistance Vendor Profile to recognize the new LiveConnect

provider.

Open the Profile Manager in ClientBase then search for Allianz.

Double click on our profile to open it, then click the Live Connect Providers button.

A new window will appear, showing any current LiveConnect Providers. Click Add.

Another window will pop up; fill it in as its shown below and click OK twice.

Click the Apply button so the changes are saved.

3.3 Setting Your Login Credentials

AgentMaxOnline requires a user name and password be used any time a connection is made. However,

you can save your credentials within ClientBase Plus so that step can be skipped in the future.

Select Utilities again from the top of the screen & then click on My Login.

A new window will appear; Click the LiveConnect tab at the top of the screen and then Add.

Another window will appear. Add in your user name & password for AgentMaxOnline & click OK.

Now click OK on the open window.

And you are all set. Now you can select the new LiveConnect Provider from within the ResCard

to complete an insurance booking.

4 Set up w. ClientBaseOnline

This process can only be done by ClientBaseOnline administrators, so we are unable to provide screen

shots. However, the process can be completed by your CBO admin; please contact them and

5 Buying a Policy in ClientBase Plus

Open the ResCard that you want to add insurance to & click the LiveConnect button.

A new window will appear. Select AgentMaxOnline from the drop down & click Create New

Reservation. (Note- Your user name and password for AgentMaxOnline should pre-fill here; if

they don’t please add them or update them globally from the instructions in the set up section

above.)

Move through the LiveConnect process as normal; making any changes as necessary and click

Connect.

A new browser window will automatically open and AgentMaxOnline will load. (Be sure you do

not close this window as you will need the Import Reservation button once the booking is done.

Select the product you wish to buy, complete the purchase and you will come to the

confirmation page. From here click the Import Reservation button to add details back to

ClientBase.

Insurance will now appear in the Reservation section.

6 Buying a Policy in ClientBaseOnline

Login to ClientBaseOnline, open the ResCard you want to work with and select the Options icon.

A new menu will appear, from that select LiveConnect.

A new window will open, fill it out as it shows below and click Create New Reservation. (Note-

Be sure to fill in your user name and password for AgentMaxOnline here)

Move through the LiveConnect process as normal; making any changes as necessary and click

Connect.

A new window will open showing AgentMaxOnline with the trip details selected before, pre-

populated.

Select the product you wish to buy and complete the sale within AgentMaxOnline as normal.

Once done, on the confirmation page, click the Import Reservation button to have data pass

back to ClientBaseOnline.

The Res Card will update with Insurance information as normal.

7 Technical Support – Script Error

Its possible that the first time you attempt to use AgentMaxOnline with ClientBase, you encounter a

script error. This is actually an issue with the version of Internet Explorer that is being used for both

applications. AgentMaxOnline will only work with IE 9 or newer and your machine may be trying to

default to IE 8 for ClientBase even if you have a newer version of IE installed and used regularly.

The fix for this requires a small update to your machine’s registry settings. If encountered, please have

an administrator of your machine contact our Distribution Specialist at 877.882.8283 for help on

updating the registry.

7.1 What Doest This Look Like

You will know this happens, because during the LiveConnect process, you will see something like the

below.

If encountered, please just click No as many times as necessary, until all errors are cleared. You should

then see the following.

Then close LiveConnect. If you need to buy insurance before your administrator can get this fixed, please

go to www.agentmaxonline.com and log in to complete the booking.
