At the time of taking out this policy: i) Any medical condition you have, or have had, that has given rise to symptoms or for which any form of treatment or prescribed medication, medical consultation, investigation or follow-up/check-up has been required or received during the 2 years prior to the commencement of cover under this policy. ii) Any cancer, respiratory (other than asthma which meets the criteria shown on the Automatically Accepted Minor Conditions list), cardiovascular or circulatory condition (e.g. heart condition, hypertension, blood clots, raised cholesterol, stroke, aneurysm) that has occurred at any time prior to the commencement of cover under this policy. Please note that some minor conditions are covered as standard if they fall within the Automatically Accepted Minor Conditions list. For details of full terms applying to pre-existing medical conditions, please read the policy wording - page 7 and 8. Medical Declaration - page 7 and 8 This policy will not cover any claims under Section A (Cancellation, Curtailment or Trip Interruption) arising directly or indirectly from a pre-existing medical condition, that was known to you prior to the commencement of the Period of Insurance, affecting a close relative, travelling companion who is not insured under this policy or person with whom You intend to stay whilst on Your Trip if: - a terminal diagnosis had been received prior to the commencement of the period of insurance; or - if they were on a waiting-list for, or had knowledge of the need for, surgery, inpatient treatment or investigation at any hospital or clinic at the commencement of the Period of Insurance; or if during the 90 days immediately prior to the commencement of the Period of Insurance they had: - required surgery, inpatient treatment or hospital consultations; or - if they were aware of a medical condition or suffering from symptoms but had not had a diagnosis at the start of the Period of Insurance; Cancellation or Curtailment - page 10 You must be under 51 at the date your insurance starts. General Exclusions (3) You must be a permanent resident of the United Kingdom and registered with a UK Medical Practitioner. You must be in the UK at the time of purchasing the policy and your trip must start and end in the UK. How Your Policy Works - page 5 Cover for participation in Dangerous Activities is not provided under this policy. Significant Conditions And Exclusions Policy Reference

It is a condition of this policy that you will not be covered for any claims arising directly orindirectly from:

Cancelling or cutting shortyour holiday

£3,000 £150 To be able to claim, the reason why the trip is beingcancelled or cut short must be necessary and unavoidableand must fall into one of the reasons listed in the Policy.

For example, if a person insured under this policybecomes ill or is injured or dies. You must also notify yourcarrier or travel agent as soon as you know the trip isto be cancelled to minimise your loss as far as possible.

Your Personal Belongingsand Baggage.

£1,500 £150 To be able to claim, a written report is required tosupport the loss/theft/damage. For example, from thelocal police or from the transport carrier.

This must be obtained within 24 hours of discovery.The amount payable will include an allowance for wearand tear and loss of value.

Personal property left in vehicles must be in a lockedboot or locked and covered luggage compartment.Valuables are not covered if they are left in anunattended vehicle.

Significant or unusual exclusions and limitationsThere are some situations which you are not covered for. These generally involveanything you already know about or that is caused by deliberate or careless actson your part. Full details of these are given in the policy document.

Duration of CoverFor single trip policies cover for cancellation starts from the date you book yourtrip or pay for the insurance , whichever is the later. Annual multi trip and all othersections run for the period shown on your certificate of insurance.

Cancellation rightsYou have the right to cancel your policy during the first 14 days after you havebought the policy. If you wish to cancel within this 14 day period, you will be entitledto a full refund of the premium paid, provided you have not already started your trip.Please note that if you wish to cancel your policy after you have made a claim, wemay seek to recover the monies paid to you in settlement of the claim.

Please quote your validation cer tificate number. Unless you exercise your right to cancelwithin this 14 day period you will not be entitled to any refund of premium. If you donot exercise your right to cancel your policy, it will remain in force for the term of thepolicy and you will be required to pay the premium as stated.

Certain sections of your policy carry an excess. This means that you will be responsible for paying the first part of the claim up to the excess value per insured person, eachand every incident, each and every section of cover.

End Supplier Failure £3,000 £150 To be able to claim, the financial failure of any travelor accommodation supplier must not be bondedelsewhere (even if the bond is insufficient to meetthe claim).
