You are invited to participate in the nationally accredited Introduction to Agronomy course. This training is aimed at equipping you with the skills and knowledge to confidently carry out sampling procedures, interpret agronomic advice and implement recommended cultural practices in the field. The course focusses on practical Agronomy at an operational level.
Who should attend the course?
Farm staff, farm supervisors, contractors, service providers reasonably new (2 years) to the industry.
*** You must hold a Level 3 Chemical Application to attend this course.
How long this is course?• 3 days plus online component.
What does the course consist of?
Pre-workshop 1 online component
• Reading & instructional videos.• Short quizzes & assessment.
Workshop 1: A two-day interactive session including practical demonstrations.
Homework tasks for completion for next workshop
• One quiz.• Two practical investigations.
Workshop 2: • A one-day interactive classroom and field-based session.
• Interpretation of farm soil test results.
