    The values are in fact given the employees the environment of how they should conduct themselves and

    what sort of decisions they can take on the part of the business. Values work like the employees

    personal code of conduct. As long as the conduct is according to the set values the business will keep on

    improving. Once the values based approach is set in the business, one can see a rapid change not only in

    the environment of the business but also in the progress of the business.

    The business is said t o be the work of the educated ones in the entire global arena. The values are of

    great importance in the art of business. The values have never been inspected or poured upon in the

    business world earlier nor the urge of having good business values in the business have ever been felt.

    The world globalized with the advent of the technology. This emergence of the globalized world has

    remarkably revolutionized the business in terms of values. Sitting in any nook and corner of the world, a

    person can get the information about any business or company which is not dealing fairly with its

    customers or which does not care for the values of the business. This can also be a frighteningly threat

    for any aggrieved customer who can post bad comments about the business hence the business earningbad repute.

    The business should be advertised on a day to day basis showing your customers about the regard for

    the values the business is and has been offering. This will also lessen the chance of any aggrieved

    customer to mouth his comments against the business. If not done so in the current fast electronic

    world, the business can be hammered a bit. In such a abject economic business climate, no business can

    Culture is not only the behavior of the employee or the customer but in fact it a set of many

    attributes found in an individual. Culture is societys reflection, individuals living, its time andspace, beliefs and many other factors. Culture can be different at times as for example in a

    group in a business, may feel hard work not the key to success but the business feels so. This is

    the cultural difference in the business. Culture is the choice at a peculiar time. In business

    environment, there are similarities in culture along with certain contradictions in the culture of

    For example the Asian and the European style of business is totally different. The Asians are

    very regular and punctual. The Asian companies invite each other in order to build a working

    relationship and always reach at a consensus. While in a marketing conciliation with a European

    culture business, the Asian can be difficult. Because the Europeans do not come to the

    conclusion and Asians do not like the word no.

    The values of the business are of prime importance for the business and similarly taking care of

    the culture is as much important for the business to deal with. The cultural differences could be

    religious contradictions or ethical beliefs. For example in different cultures there are different

    holidays in business environment. Such a cultural contradictory difference can create problems

    for the business. This can reduce the production ratio as well as create an unconducive

    environment in the business. Similarly, people may not like to work or deal with the persons

    with different beliefs.

    If the business understands the similarities and differences of culture in the workplaceenvironment, the business will move on. The cultural diversity can make the business more

    innovative. The business, if using the cultural diversity in a meaningful way, can overcome an

    unconducive environment and make the business grow at a better pace.

    The value systems significantly vary between culture. People with different backgrounds act

    differently even in a coherent environment provided by the business. They have a different

    stance towards their hierarchy, achievements, time and space and towards their working

    environment. The difference in cultural values can affect the individual as well as the

    organization as a whole. There can be communication barriers among the employees or the

    customers which indirectly hurt the organization. Other than that there can also be some

    traditional cultural attribute which does not comply with the values of the business

    environment and thus receed the working of the organization in one way or the other.

    In international business cultural difference of gender barrier should also be considered. There

    are some countries where women are preferred to men and reciprocally there are some

    countries where women are not given due weightage.

    Cultural difference which can be seen in a broader perspective, is a range of beliefs and

    behaviors found on a daily basis in the workplace of a business environment. There have been

    set frameworks which measure the cultural difference in different complex scales. Such

    frameworks are helpful in solving the problem of values differing across cultures. In this regard

    cultural awareness is the key. The management of the business should know the cultural

    background of the employee as well as the customer to individually deal with them at their set

    standards and to come up with certain new sets and rules that comply with all the working

    persons in the business.

    To observe a cultural mix up, there is no better place than a business environment. In business,

    communication is the fundamental element of the business as the business is a collaborative

    activity. The services are exchanged in the business through close coordination of the people

    attached to the business.

    For example some international companies have different cultural traits and differ in cultural

    hook ups. Some companies prefer to send one or two member team for a cross-culture

    business trip and some countries prefer to send a delegation for business dealings. The

    companies have difference of cultures at both ends. Some feel that a single member can

    represent the whole knowledge while the others believe that a single member cannot tell the

    whole knowledge rather than a group of people can easily manage the trip and the business

    dealings.

    On the same note, the decision making is also culturally different. In some companies there is

    only a single decision maker who is the authority there. While in some companies there is asyndicate who decides with mutual collaboration. The body language of the presenter

    determines the cultural difference. It depends to whom and from which culture one is

    addressing to. For example in some parts of the world only nodding to the speakers volume

    doe not mea that the listener is replying in affirmative. It may also mean that the listener is

    paying attention to what the speaker is saying. in a cross- cultured environment these things

    ought to be given weightage.
