Tetra Tech’s work consists of performing 2 soil borings at each station (up to 150 feet in depth), securing and transporting samples, processing samples, performing laboratory testing, and performing various geotechnical engineering analyses. All work is being conducted in accordance with the current US Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) criteria. Technical review and quality control for Geotechnical Laboratory. Responsibilities include preparation of the geotechnical laboratory for the accreditation process overseen by (USACE). [5] Evaluation study on the use of organic matter in levees for the US Army Corp of Engineers (USACE). The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District is in the midst of an unprecedented search for clay material to rebuild and reinforce the Greater New Orleans Hurricane and Storm Damage Risk Reduction System (HSDRRS) in southeast Louisiana. The total borrow requirement to complete the construction of HSDRRS hurricane protection levees and floodwalls is 93 Million CY. Typically material having an organic content exceeding 9% by weight is not accepted. This special study revisited this criteria. Tetra Tech’s work consists of performing 2 soil borings at each station (up to 150 feet in depth), securing and transporting samples, processing samples, performing laboratory testing, and performing various geotechnical engineering analyses. All work is being conducted in accordance with the current US Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) criteria. Technical review and quality control for Geotechnical Laboratory. [13] Field Investigation Manager, Urban Levee Geotechnical Evaluations Contract

DWR has identified approximately 72 miles of levees that protect the urban communities of San Joaquin County. These areas were be investigated by URS and GEI. URS provided overall coordination and management of the task, as well as the subsurface investigation of approximately 27 miles of levee on the Calaveras River, Stockton Diverting Canal, and Mormon Slough (Calaveras River System). GEI investigated approximately 45 miles of levee on Bear Creek and Paddy Creek (Bear Creek System). Responsibilities include: Preparation of Subsurface Investigation Plan Preparation of laboratory program and coordination with laboratory Coordinating with counterparts and providing feedback on laboratory program Coordination with DWR representatives Coordinating with field representatives and loggers, CADD and GIS analysts, and gINT data

III. CH2M Hill

[15] South Fork Willow Creek Detention Basin (Colusa); The Colusa Basin Drainage District

of Colusa County; Glenn County, California. Staff geotechnical engineer and field safety coordinator. Drainage District recommended construction of a detention basin to reduce flooding in the Willows area. The detention basin consists of an earth fill dam to be constructed with a height of about 80 feet above the channel bottom on the South Fork of Willow Creek and an ungated outlet with two 36 inch diameter pipes. The peak inflow is 9,120 cfs (1,000-year flood). The outlet system is designed to release half of the maximum reservoir capacity in seven days and not retain water longer than 30 days. A spillway should allow discharge of flows greater than the 1,000-year event into the creek beyond the dam. Responsibilities include: Staking boreholes and test pits using a hand-held GPS unit Site utility clearance Logging soil borings, rock cores and test pits Performing field permeability test Surveying of drilled boreholes and excavated test pits using a hand-held GPS unit Measuring water levels in the monitoring wells Calculation of rock permeability from packer test results Housekeeping and book keeping Providing weekly progress and performance reports and reviewing invoices Comparing CH2M HILL records with the subcontractor invoices Requesting quotes from subcontractors and working with contracting department to prepare a

[16] PCWA Werner Road Storage Tank Preliminary Design; Placer County Water Agency (PCWA); Placer County, California. Staff geotechnical engineer. The proposed PCWA Werner Water Tank project includes the following elements: A twin 5-million gallon prestressed concrete tanks, 180 feet in diameter and 21 feet in height, a 20ft by 75ft prepackaged pump station building with a below-grade well extending approximately 15 feet below grade, a 40 ft by 60ft inlet control structure building with a concrete slab on grade and concrete masonry unit (CMU) walls. Responsibilities include: Conducting slope stability using Slide software Estimating bearing capacity Performing settlement analysis Performing probabilistic seismic analysis Writing the Geotechnical Preliminary Design Report

[17] Bickford Tank and Pipeline Pre-Design; Placer County Water Agency (PCWA), Bickford

Ranch in Placer County, California. Staff geotechnical engineer. The project includes a 8-million gallon, 180-foot diameter water storage tank and associated transmission pipeline for the Placer County Water Agency. Responsibilities include: Performing slope stability using Slide software Estimating bearing capacity Performing settlement analysis Creation of conceptual cross sections and interpretation of soil/rock profile from geophysical

analysis probabilistic seismic analysis Writing the Geotechnical Preliminary Design Report

The project team was awarded the Phase I Civil/Federal Engineering (CFE) Project Team Recognition Award. [18] Stockton Tank Farm Terminal Expansion; Valero LP; Navy Drive, Stockton, California.

Staff geotechnical engineer and field safety coordinator. Valero LP is considering expansion of their storage tanks to increase the capacity of gasoline, diesel/fuel oil, and possibly ethanol. Three additional tanks are proposed: two 86-foot diameter by 48 feet in height and one 115-foot diameter and 48 feet in height. Responsibilities include: Site utility clearance Logging boreholes Coordinating with county inspectors to check the methods and quality of borehole grouting Data entry using gINT software

[19] The Bradshaw Interceptor Section 6B Project; the Sacramento Regional County

Sanitation District (SRCSD or District); Bradshaw/Jackson Junction, Sacramento, California. Staff geotechnical engineer and field safety coordinator.

The project primarily consists of 108-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP). Two tunneled crossings were designed as part of the Project: the 130-foot Jackson Road Crossing and the 254-foot Morrison Creek Crossing. Responsibilities include: Field visits to evaluate the existing soil conditions at the pipeline level Collecting soil samples for sieve analysis Performing in-situ density test Investigating the reasons for partial failure and sloughing of earth slopes during construction Studying the possibility of settlement under the pipeline due to loose or uncompacted bearing soil

layer [20] Byron Bethany Irrigation District (BBID): 20 MGD Pump Station 1-S Expansion Design;

Byron, California. Staff geotechnical engineer and field safety coordinator. The BBID Headquarters Project includes the following main elements: single-story steel panel office building, new paved parking areas, single-story steel panel workshop, raised concrete foundation with concrete floor slab, single-story steel panel parking shade structure with open sides, raised concrete foundation with concrete floor slab, stormwater retention pond. Responsibilities include: Staking boreholes and test pits using a hand-held GPS unit Underground utility clearance Coordinating with county inspectors to check the method and quality of borehole grouting Logging boreholes and test pits Log data entry using gINT software

[21] Wheatland Waste Water Treatment Plant Expansion; City of Wheatland, California. Staff

geotechnical engineer and field safety coordinator.

The Wheatland Wastewater Treatment Plant includes the following main elements: recycled rater tank, approximately 130 feet in diameter by 33 feet in height, bioreactor basin, approximately 130 feet in diameter, MBR equipment building, steel frame building with concrete masonry unit (CMU) walls, two interior tanks bear on the concrete floor slab, headworks/screening building: a combination steel frame building with concrete masonry unit (CMU) walls, odor control facility, administration building, steel frame building with CMU walls, new paved parking areas, temporary stormwater retention pond, and permanent stormwater basin. Responsibilities include: Staking boreholes using a hand-held GPS unit Underground utility clearance Coordinating with county inspectors to check the method and quality of borehole grouting Logging boreholes Supervision of construction of monitoring wells Log data entry using gINT software Preparation of laboratory requests

[22] Santa Rosa Seasonal Storage IRWP Project; City of Santa Rosa; Santa Rosa, California.

Staff geotechnical engineer and field safety coordinator. The City of Santa Rosa adopted the Incremental Recycled Water Program (IRWP) in March 2004. The IRWP Master Plan identifies Urban Reuse as a project for implementation. Urban Reuse may occur within the cities of Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park or Cotati or at the Santa Rosa Golf and Country Club. The scope of services provides for Consultant’s work associated with the IRWP Santa Rosa Urban Reuse Project and the IRWP Seasonal Storage Project including: Feasibility Study of the Santa Rosa Urban Reuse Project, Predesign of the 1,000-Million Gallon per Year (MGY) Santa Rosa Urban Reuse Project (Santa Rosa Urban Reuse Project), reconnaissance and Conceptual Design of the 400 Million Gallon (MG) Phase 1 Seasonal Storage Expansion Project (IRWP Seasonal Storage Project). [25] Upper Williams Creek Reservoir; Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Colorado. Staff

geotechnical engineer. The feasibility of the proposed Upper Williams Creek Dam and Reservoir is evaluated. If constructed, the reservoir will be located on Williams Creek near its source. Storage capacity is expected to be 30,500 acre-feet of raw water. Responsibilities include: Conducting steady-state and rapid-drawdown finite-element dam seepage analysis Deflection and stability analyses of various sections of the proposed earth dam

[26] Upper North West Interceptor (UNWI) – Sections 3 and 4; North Natomas/Rio Linda

area; Sacramento County, California. Staff geotechnical engineer. The Upper Northwest Interceptor Project Sections 3 and 4 (UNWI 3&4) consist of approximately 10,500 lineal feet of 84-inch, and 8,200 lineal feet of 66-inch, inside diameter interceptors at an invert depth varying between 25 and 45 feet. Both Pipe jacking and open cut methods were used in construction. Responsibilities include: Measuring water levels in monitoring wells Reviewing the validity of consolidation parameters Re-evaluation of pre-calculated settlement estimates and provide recommendations for an accurate
