BAHS STUDENT ACTIVITIES PROGRAM 2014-2015

ORGANIZATIONS AND CLUBS

Dear BAHS Student,

The Broken Arrow High School student activities program strives to provide students with a wide range of cultural, social, ath-

letic, artistic, and recreational activities that strengthen the bond between the student and BAHS. BAHS student activities facili-

tate personal growth by providing opportunities to develop teamwork, goal-setting, problem solving, and planning skills. In fact,

research on student activities has shown students who participate in activities are likely to have greater academic success, devel-

op leadership skills, and they report a higher level of school satisfaction when compared to students who are not involved with

activities.

Broken Arrow High School is committed to creating a positive student activities experience by developing programming that

meets the following standards:

High level of student participation

Equal access for all students

Diverse opportunities

Response to student interest

Community service

Leadership development

High level of Faculty/Staff participation

Please use this guide to connect with student activities that will enhance your experience at Broken Arrow High School.

Sincerely,

Debbie Renz
