Crush injury occurs when a muscle mass is injured by a severe force.

Crush syndrome can occur following the injury when the severe force is

released. This can occur for a period nearing or exceeding one hour.

Explain the first aid management for choking?

Inspire conscious patients to clear external material by coughing or if unconscious

place the patient on floor into a recovery position, if unsuccessful give up to 5 slaps

between a shoulders blade using the heel of hand in an upward motion. Re-check

airway, if still unsuccessful begin CPR.
