- The host entity will write in The Opportunity form options on where the EP will

be picked up.

- Pick up from point of entry is mandatory. In case the point of entry is not the

same as the destination of the TN, detailed travel/transport directions must

be provided to EP at time of Match.

- EP needs to send information about his arrival destination to the host entity

at least 48h before starting the trip

- Host entity will prepare Welcome package (SIM card, Busplus, city map…)

- Every intern will receive an assistance in departure by having at least one

AIESEC memebr that will:

1.) Take him/her to the final departure destination (bus station, train station or

airport ) – if it is in city of LC

2.) Take him/her to the departure destination from which he/she can reach

his/her final departure destination, and also give hime/her detailed instruction

how to get to the final departure destination – if it isn’t in the city of LC

- EP will receive an assistance from EP buddy for buying departure ticket

- EP should write a short story or make a short video about his/her internship that

can be showcased later by AIESEC and EP.

Extra*:

- LC will organize good bye party with as many AIESEC members and interns

friends as possible

- EP will recieve a good bye gift from his/her EP buddy

- EP should have at least one picture together with the LC (on some LCM, LC

event, education, etc.)

* Extra thing are not obligatory, but it is highly recommended in order to get full package internship

− JD needs to have at least 4 paragraphs, each with 2-3 sentences

JD needs to be detailed explanation of what EP will work

− It needs to have clearly defined role of EP in company based on field of

− work

− It needs to have determined mentor in a company with his/her name,

position and phone number written in opportunity

− There has to be a responsible member of AIESEC responsible to

communicate on a week basis with mentor about work of EP

− JD has to be worked over at first day of work.

− Job activities and Job Description must be the same as when matched

and accepted through the AN forms. Any changes need to be in written

form and agreed upon by TN, EP and AIESEC

- Minimum duration for Short term unpaid GIP is 6 weeks, maximum is 8 weeks.

- Minimum duration for Classic GIP is 6 weeks, maximum 52 weeks.

− Minimum working hours for Short term unpaid GIP and for Classic GIP is 35

hours and maximum is 40 hours per week.

- EP will have break as well as other colleagues have during daily work.

- Overtime is not defined during these internships, and it will be arranged with

the company.

Extra:

- EP will have intro at the beginning of work to discus with his/her mentor

about the tasks for that day, and summarizing the daily work at the end of

the day

- EP won’t work on State holidays and weekends which is provided by Law of

Republic Serbia, unless if it’s not defined in the Rule book or Statute of the

company.

- The meeting should be scheduled with responsible person for intern

- Opportunity manager must go together with the EP to the work on the

first day of the internship

- Opportunity manager will be there on the first meeting with EP and TN

- Opportunity manager will guide expectation setting between TN and EP

- Every EP needs to have defined KPIs on weekly or bi-weekly level

- Opportunity manager is responsible for tracking if EP has this defined

and to track if mentor from company is tracking this

- Home entity and EP are responsible to provide at least basic travell

insurance in case of Short term upaid GIP

- Home entity and EP will provide insurance for Classic GIP program, in

some cases can be provided by company (EP will be informed about

this after Matching)

- Every EP must regulate insurance that covers all time spend on the

internship, and he must deliver scanned insurance 7 days before trip

Short term unpaid GIP Classic GIP

-Provided by AIESEC

-EP has to be informed about type of

accommodation (host or apartment) and

other conditions at least 10 days prior to

arrival

- Maximum 10 people can live in an

apartment/house with 1 bathroom

- Each person needs to have at least 8m²

in apartment

- For any element for accommodation

that EP has to bring with himself (e.g.

bedsheets), he/she has to be informed at

least 7 days prior to arrival

- EP has to be informed about living

conditions (defined in Contract) prior to

matching

-Accommodation has to be maximum 1

hour of ride from a place of work

- Not provided by AIESEC

- TN taker has to provide salary for EP from which

he/she can cover accommodation costs, food

and transportation

- Responsible person from AIESEC needs to help

EP to find appropriate accommodation; he/she

has to offer to EP at least 3 options

- Responsible AIESECer and EP have to book the

apartment at least 7 days prior to EPs arrival

- EP has to be informed from AIESECer about

total monthly costs for the accommodation

- The Opportunity form specifies if any financial or non-financial

compensation would be provided during the internship.

- Host Entity will set expectations with EP about basic living cost in Serbia.

Opportunity manager needs to send Reception booklet at least 7 days after

matching EP with all needed information about basic living costs

- The home entity has to provided minimum information to the EP about

AIESEC purpose, inner and outer journey and role of exchange in it, during

preparation for internship (OPS).

- Home entity is responsible to set expectations from internship before EP

arrives, and to send those expectations to the host entity

- The home entity has to provide the AIESEC standards and the XPP in written

format to the EP who acknowledges in a written format to have received,

understood and accepted them.

- Home entity is responsible to have an OPS with each EP before they go on

internship

- Topics they need to cover are: AIESEC purpose, I&O journey and XPP

- Home entity is obligated to send the agenda of preparation of EPs to the

home entity and if needed, to align it based on hosting entity inputs

- Organizing Incoming Preparation Seminar for group of interns maximum 7

days after arrival

- Providing at least 1 internal education

- Organizing special track for EPs at least one local conference (if intern

would be in Serbia during local conferences)

- Home entity is responsible to inform hosting entity about their learnings for

the EP during the internship in order to align it with the home entity
