I have this moment, when I wake up unusually earlier than every time, I just turn off my alarm and program my brain to close my eyes for a calculated 15 minutes

more. I try very hard to free my mind of any kind of thoughts to make the most out of these 15 minutes.

This has been for a very long time the only moment of complete peace I have during a day.

Today, I want all of you to close your eyes and take 2 minutes of peace to think about all what we have been through together as an entity, all the beautiful

memories we kept from Kick Off until MIH, all the disappointments, the arguments, the fun moments and all the “I want to get the hell out of here” moments.

Take these 2 minutes of peace to log out of 2012 and log in into 2013.

Happy very late New Year Hssasnas

Last year has been very busy for all of us. This organization brought us together and gave us one of the most interesting experiences we will ever have in our lives.

No matter how disappointed and unmotivated we get sometimes, deep inside we all agree that we are taking out of this experience much more than one life

lesson.

Let’s keep hope and ambition to develop AIESEC in Morocco, let’s be the changing agents AIESEC has been looking for, let’s work together to make this

organization valuable for our young sisters and brothers, let’s be competitive and try to make AIESEC Morocco one of the best entities in the world, let’s play our

last card and apply for higher positions in our local committee, let’s learn, let’s grow, let’s leave our steps, let’s impact.

Remember, as much as you give you will receive, as much as you commit you will get respect, as much as you get involved you will gain knowledge.

Don’t let go very fast, if you are here today it is certainly for a reason. Find your reason and use it to breathe life into your spirit again.

Let’s trust each other, I believe we are all dreamers; let’s dream the same way and let’s dream the same dream.

Friendship is very precious beautiful people; thanks to you, today I had TWO moments of complete peace.

Let’s properly welcome 2013

With Love

Salma Bouhala

As many people, we often start to notice that our memory and mental clarity are not what they used to be. We suddenly can't remember where

we put the keys just a moment ago, or an old acquaintance's name, or the name of an old band we used to love. As the brain fades, we

euphemistically refer to these occurrences as "senior moments."

While seemingly innocent, this loss of mental focus can potentially have a detrimental impact on our professional, social, and personal well-

being.

It happens to most of us, but is it inevitable?

Neuroscientists are increasingly showing that there's actually a lot that can be done. It turns that the brain needs exercise in much the same way

our muscles do, and the right mental workouts can significantly improve our basic cognitive functions. Thinking is essentially a process of

making neural connections in the brain. To a certain extent, our ability to excel in making the neural connections that drive intelligence is

inherited. However, because these connections are made through effort and practice, scientists believe that intelligence can expand and

fluctuate according to mental effort.
