Something about Incoming GCDP:

Department of Incoming GCDP: iGCDP is an exchange programme in short duration between 6 to 8weeks for current university students from around the world. It is planned in the frames of a project and based on a certain social issue respondent for needs of society.

Roles of Incoming GCDP

Specifically, aim to engage youths from all around the world, both local and international with our local projects as organizers (AIESEC members), exchange participants (international stu-dents), and ambassador (short term volunteers). Also, keep strengthening the quality of exchange process in AIESEC using business model.

1.Create projects based on exchange)

Pre-planning: In AIESEC iGCDP, the way of creating a project is not different from the other company and organization, the only two things that iGCDP always be aware of before creating a project are the need of society and the relevance of bringing international students to participate in the project. So basically, iGCDP team will gather together and analyze Cambodia issues first, then select issues to be the main reason of creating each project based on exchange, and finally start with the planning.

Project planning:

• Set goal and objective to solve issues

• Set target groups

• Set activities in the objective

• Set sub-activities to cut down the free time in project

• Team allocation: job description and timeline for each project team members

Preparation:

• Research list of partners/sponsors that we want to approach

• Get them to understand AIESEC and Introduce about the project overall benefit

After meeting:

• Follow up

• Get them to sign the contract/job questionnaire

3. Match (Promote and select global youths)

Match is another preparation part before starting the project, and this process is a globalization process which is how iGCDP empowers youths around the world by trying to get them to participate in each project, thus the process is always online as you can see here:

Promotion:

21

• Promote throughout AIESEC network to fine international students

• Promote to Cambodia students to find short term volunteers to facilitate international students in project
