AIGUA CHARTER S.L. – based in Palma de Mallorca, Spain – provides management and training for charter boats, yacht brokerage, organisationof nautical events and yacht sales for Varador 2000 Palma.

AIGUA SEA SCHOOL is the training division of AIGUA CHARTER S.L.

Our primary objective is to offer the highest level of customer service,both in training as well as equipment: Friendly and patient instructors,new training boats that are spacious and comfortable, beautifulMediterranean settings and local cuisine... POWER & MOTOR

AIGUA SEA SCHOOL runs all the RYA courses for powerboating (for boats upto 10m) and motor cruising (over 10m). Our tuition range is from PowerboatLevel I and motor cruising Helmsman’s courses, up to Advanced Powerboatassessments and the professional qualification of Yachtmaster Offshore.

We run assessments for the International Certificate of Competence -ICC-which acts like a 'driving licence' for powerboats and motor cruisers. It isa certificate that gives you a level of expertise which enables you to charterand drive a powerboat or motor cruiser, armed with an understanding ofyour own capabilities and those of your crew and your vessel.

The ICC is only available to British citizens; forinternational students we arrange commerciallyendorsed licences from Powerboat Level II to DaySkipper.

Our training boats are less than two years old,superbly equipped, expertly maintained and basedin the heart of Palma’s bustling harbour.

POWERBOAT & MOTOR CRUISING COURSES

AIGUA SEA SCHOOL offers all RYA sailing courses, from the introductorytwo-day course of START YACHTING, to the ICC and up to YachtmasterOffshore. We run courses throughout the year to fit your training requirements and schedule.

PRIVATE COURSES... a great way of enjoying a sailing holiday whilst learningnew skills with friends and family. You can learn on your ownboat, a charter boat or one of ourown training monohulls or catamarans.

PRE-CHARTER / REFRESHER DAYSIf you only get the opportunity tosail once a year, or even less, it isa good idea to spend the first dayof your charter holiday with aninstructor onboard.

AIGUA SEA SCHOOL is recognised by the RYA to run specialist courses tosupport skipper qualifications. Our spacious classroom offers a comfortablelearning environment for navigation theory, from the RYA Basic Safety andNavigation course to RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore and Ocean.

Our teaching facilities are equipped with VHF/DSC training radio sets andsimulators for the marine radio Short Range Certificate and GMDSS qualifications. We arrange First Aid training, Sea Survival courses, plusSTCW95 qualifications and medical reports required for commercialendorsements.

NAVIGATION THEORY & VHF MARINE RADIO

In our intensive training programme, our Yachtmaster Instructors willprepare you for the assessment that leads to a worldwide recognisedYachtmaster international certificate of competence.

AIGUA SEA SCHOOL understands the importance of thorough professionaltraining to prepare candidates for their Yachtmaster assessments.

From Yachtmaster Offshore we can take you to Ocean status and the commercial endorsements required for working in the nautical industry.

The title of RYA/MCA Yachtmaster is a much coveted qualification held in high regardworldwide, and most certainly the first step to a professional career in the nauticalindustry.
